With Watt, we are a top 3, if not best defense. Without Watt we are still a top 7 (maybe better) Defense. Either way, it is Super Bowl potential.

The conundrum is offense. Not sure that is a debate, but nonetheless it is. Last week, Trubisky made no (bad) mistakes, and the D took us to victory. This week, his mistakes hurt. And, Sutton's lack of an interception hurt too (but we shouldn't have to count on that). So, back to the offense. I think it *is* time to give Picket a chance. BUT, and it is a big butt, I am not sure giving Pickett the chance makes sense given Canada's play calling.

Here is what will not happen but should: Trubisky to the bench (which is somewhat unfair but ...), Trubisky in, and Canada fired. I understand the response, in a way, is that they have all learened Canada's (******) system. PS, what is his system? We heard motion and RPO. Anyone see that today, or last week? Anywho, back to the point, I would bring someone new in, let Pickett run the vanilla while they learn the new system.

This is the way. It won't happen to be clear. But it IS the way. No sarcasm, tell me why I am wrong? :)

Any offensive coordinator from the USFL would be better than what we have.

In 2 weeks our D has been exposed as not being able to stop the run, especially when it counts. Last week, pretty much every run in the 1st half was for 5+ yards until they abandoned the run. This week with 7+ minutes to go the Cheats ran on every down and ran the clock completely down to win the game. THAT IS a problem.

It's a tradition to blame the OC I know, but a lot of what I saw today is what they ran with Ben. The problem at this point is the QB and WRs. We don't have an AB or even JuJu and we have a QB who plays way too conservative. To the point of throwing check downs on 3rd far short of the sticks with the guy surrounded. You throw it deep even if it's picked it's as good as a punt. Why would you give yourself no chance? Trubisky doing that had me pulling my hairs out.

17 points allowed at home with one of those touchdowns being after a muffed punt and the other being a great play over Witherspoon. Yeah, the defense had moments, but come on, the offense has to try to score more than 20 points to win games. This zero margin of error is BS for the defense and special teams.

This offense can't score 20 per game.

Not a question of if, but a question of when do you fire and replace O'Canada ? You don't demote or promote anyone from within, O'Canada goes and a new "out of organization" OC comes in as a temporary to finish the year.

As an owner I tell Mr. Tomlin that he cannot manipulate the OC. I know this is a hard one but tomlin has to be taken out of the equation.

By week 4 or so everyone including my 4th HOT cousin will see his worthlessness. Will HC or ownership step up and do something.................... my guess is no.

Salute the nation

I know they won't. But will you post a picture of your hot cousin?

Most fans know exactly what plays the OC is going to call and we yell at the TV when those plays happen game after game. There is no way a DC on another team doesn’t see this as well. Even other teams players are calling out our plays. We are predictable and 1 dimensional on offense.

3rd and 8…. We throw 2 yards behind the LOS and expect a RB to get a first down. We throw behind the LOS way too much.

We have talent at WR… but if our bonehead OC never calls plays to go down field more then 8 yards we are making it easy on the other teams defense.

This is a HUGE problem.

The Steelers allowed 3.9 yards per carry to the Bengals and 4.0 yards per carry to the Patriots, and that's your biggest concern?

The defense forced New England to punt twice in the fourth quarter, and the offense responded with two 3-and-outs, putting the D right back out on the field. Yeah, it's their fault.
