The fines in this league are ridiculous

Brady 16k for his ridiculous slide tackle attempt in playoff game. That isn't his first and that was a deliberate and very dangerous play.
Joey Bosa 53K for 2 Unsportsmanlike conducts and criticizing the ****** officiating we all see week in and out. He even pretty much called out the amount of fine he would get.

I have always thought the fines were stupid to begin with. player A gets hit with a 40 grand fine but makes 5 million a year not a big deal its just a night out on the town. Player B however gets the same fine but makes vet minimum different story. so many of these fines are judgment calls at best anyway. I say if its bad enough suspend them if it continues to happen then take draft picks. when you start hurting the team by not being able to play or by losing draft capital the other players will figure out how to fix it.

That's a really good point. It should be 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 full game cheque.

I understand the sentiment slash but sorry to say that wouldn’t fix anything.

I supplied all tools for my workers and it was amazing how many tools I had to replace from “lost or theft”. I changed policy to here is your truck and here is a complete list of tools inventory. YOU are responsible for said tools but if you break something or wear it out (show it to me), I’ll replace it. I spot checked and if they were short tools I took it out of their pay-check to replace it.

SUDDENLY the “lost or stolen” tool budget became near ZERO.

Point is you have to be accountable to your actions.

The players protested the way Goodfernuthin was randomly coming up with amounts for fines and I think the league made the fines a certain amount, based on the infraction and the number of times a player had been fined previously, as part of the CBA.
