since it was asked on Stryker's show
last 5 years 2018-2022 Tomlin has won 5 out of 21 challenges or 23.8%
add in this year and it is 6 out of 24 or 25%
definitely not elite
total career 37 wins n 89 challenges or 41.6% which would be above the line

well he is 33% this seasonObviously, he is trending upward with his arrow.
Being right 25% of the time is like 4-blind mice and blind grandma swinging her cane.
I was, as in the past, all for Coach Tomlin getting an assistant for flag challenges along with time outs.

Sorry, but I find this to be arrogant bufoonary.Yes SIR and even without a get-back or flag coach in his employ.

The challenge is the standard. Or, The standard is the challenge. Maybe - Don't challenge in your fears. Or, Don't live in your challenges. I don't know.Challenge is as challenge does.
His explanation for the second one on Monday is head scratching. He said he threw it because he wasn't sure when the receiver had possession. So you wasted a TO late in a game we were trailing because you weren't sure what the outcome would be? The need for that TO far outweighed what he wasn't sure of.Apparently he used to be good at them but I don't remember. "24-for-44 (54.5%) during the first seven seasons of his head-coaching career"
At first I thought he didn't gain possession until after the first foot came off the ground meaning the second foot was out of bounds but it became clear from the second angle he had possession while the first foot was on the ground making the out of bounds step the third step. I see why he initially thought it but they should have withdrawn the challenge. His explanation for the second one on Monday is head scratching. My argument is that if he still had no clue when possession occurred, at that point in the game, it should not have been challenged. To risk a TO, you better KNOW the outcome before you throw that flag.At first I thought he didn't gain possession until after the first foot came off the ground meaning the second foot was out of bounds but it became clear from the second angle he had possession while the first foot was on the ground making the out of bounds step the third step. Maybe Coolie, Coach needs to go back to the lab.

This is exactly right… tomlin better stay away from the poker tables in vegas.. he would lose a mint…My argument is that if he still had no clue when possession occurred, at that point in the game, it should not have been challenged. My first take was that it was the second foot that was out of bounds, until I saw the replay. Why there isn't someone up in the booth in Tomlin's ear eludes me.At first I thought he didn't gain possession until after the first foot came off the ground meaning the second foot was out of bounds but it became clear from the second angle he had possession while the first foot was on the ground making the out of bounds step the third step. Ya know your offense (and coach) is a joke when the HC chooses to drain the clock before an opponent FG attempt going to halftime cuz he’d rather hand them the ball with only 22 seconds to kill rather than having almost a full minute and attackingObviously, he is trending upward with his arrow.

Living in them fears Mikey?
Most teams would want to try to do something crazy like score points, maybe a couple 1sts and match that FG-grab momentum
Ya know them weighty decisions are hard Mike And that studio mic is calling
