If this had already been posted at one time, forgive me.

First time I saw it and it’s great!
Peyton Manning invites Franco, Frenchy, Terry and Phil Villapiano to do a reenactment of the play at the Rose Bowl.

Villapiano has got a big mouth.

Simple fact is that for the ball to bounce in the direction it did, it HAD to have hit Tatum.

In any event, it’s the most significant play in all of the big Professional Sports all time.

Everyone running out on the field and interacting with the players as a natural thing, still impresses me to this day.

Shania Twain is even impressed.!!!!

wholly sheeeeeot!

It would be even more immaculate if they were able to redo the redo.
Good point. The reenactment not very immaculate.

Should have titled the thread that way.

Yeah. I know. I am saying it would be more immaculate if they were able to redo the redo today

There's a clear shot of Franco catching the ball clean and it not hitting the turf:

Manning did not include that image just to keep some dispute alive since as Manning noted, zero chance the ball careens backwards 7+ yards without hitting Tatum.

The penalty complaint by Villapiano is likewise sour grapes. Offensive player hit his hip and zero chance Villapiano catches Franco. Zero.
