The best possible news to come out of that region lately is the fact the military forces in Iraq, Iran and Jordan (probably missing 1-2 more) all see a common enemy in ISIS and have stepped up land and air assaults. Nato/US forces could certainly help with airstrikes et al, but the key is these neighboring countries banding together against a common foe.

ISIS is an existential threat to these countries, and they didn't have much choice/.The best news was actually when the Egyptian President called out the clerics, and told them they need to reform the religion, or this will end poorly.

All ISIS needs are jobs,Obama phones and good sharp knives for cutting heads off. You can see the strain they have to endure when cutting through bone. This can lead to very frustrated sweet warriors of Allah. For crying out loud they just threw homosexuals off of high buildings instead of doing those infidels up good and proper. A tired worn out ISIS man can't rape and brutalize women& children non believers as much as he would if he had the proper tools to perform his other duties with ease. I'm sure our liberal friends here can provide the proper tools and hands on training.
