The Latest on Dwayne Haskins and his Domestic Injury

Reports have come out this week that Pittsburgh Steelers newly acquired quarterback, Dwayne Haskins has suffered substantial injuries to his teeth and mouth area stemming from an assault by the hands of his own wife, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins. Gondrezick-Haskins is now facing felony charges who also told police that her and Haskins were renewing their vows in Las Vegas before an eventual argument escalated.

“We are aware of the situation but will have no comment,” said the Steelers which was reported by ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.

In further developments, Haskins took to social media today and posted this:

Dwayne Haskins says despite police reports that say part of his tooth was found in the hotel room after the July 3 altercation with his wife, he has all his teeth.

Whether or not this will effect Haskins’ position with the team is yet to be determined. We will continue to update yinz as this story continues to unfold. Haskins is a former first-round draft pick by the Washington Football Team back in 2019, and signed a one-year deal with the Steelers back in January 2021.
