You may be familiar with this guy, Dave Rubin. He is a liberal interviewer/commentator that has his own talk show on the web. He is also a popular speaker on college campuses. FYIW, he is gay. Listen to how fed up he is with how the left has evolved into an oppressive force. During his talk, I can't help but recognize some people I know personally, and some here in the forums. Rubin rocks. Intelligent, very thoughtful, insightful. His politics run left-of-center, but he respects individual rights more than government rights or "groupthink," the predominant mindset of the left today.

These are the Democrats I grew up watching and respecting. My current favorite Democrat is Joe Manchin, but he should keep in mind what Ronald Reagan once said: "You are not leaving the Democratic party, the Democratic party is leaving you."

Establishment Democrats Order Sanders to Fall in Line

Rift between reform oriented progressives and establishment widens

On February 14, an anonymous senator criticized Sen. Bernie Sanders in an interview with The Hill for calling out the 13 Democratic senators who did not support his amendment to export cheaper prescription drugs from Canada and abroad.

Additionally, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer scheduled a meeting with Sanders and the senators to chastise Sanders. The Hill reported, “Democratic sources say Schumer convened the meeting not only to salve rankled feelings but also to send a message to the Vermont senator: Play nice with others.

Since Clinton’s historic election loss, the Democratic establishment has resisted moving in a more progressive direction. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi infamously said in December that the Democratic Party doesn’t need a new direction, and former Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid reiterated this claim.

It’s happening, guys. Liberals gear up to primary Democratic incumbents

Rumors had been swirling for a while now about some newfound bravado among the Bernie Sanders/Elizabeth Warren wing of the Democratic Party and how they had begun to fancy themselves as a new and improved version of the Tea Party movement. But would they really go so far as to begin attacking their own for a failure to toe the most liberal party line? It seems that at least some of them have decided that it’s high time for a civil war.

The new thought crime in Democratic circles is not simply agreeing to vote against Donald Trump’s policies, but rather failing to be sufficiently enraged in each and every public statement. If you are not out there engaging in a scorched earth policy against the fact that Donald Trump even exists you are suspect and in line for replacement.

I think McCarthy wasn't wrong at all. He was just the only one with the fortitude and patriotism to demand attention to the take over of our government, education, media and family structure through making one income families a thing of the past. If only others had stepped up to support his brave conduct. America could be a completely different country than we live in now. Such a loss of our liberty and inherent abilities to readily attain the pursuit of happiness.
