Agreed, for the love of god just draft a DL. Hey look at this way tho, if it happens it won’t be boring for a while. Watch them still go get Rodgers too lol

Maybe Sanders will at least outlast Pickett’s 2 seasons, then again…
 
Nothing to worry about here. Jerry and the Cowboys have a plan. Draft Sanders,trade Dak to us for a second (they don’t realize we don’t have one) and George while retaining 50% of Dak’s salary. Then swoop in and hire Daddy Sanders as their coach next season. Write it down.
 
I'm torn...I watched a bunch of his games & was fan in college, but I had nothing to lose...So I ignored his shortcomings....He does have a few, but man he was on the run for 2 years...His line was awful

But the kid elevated every program he went to...

DISCLAIMER: Being the homer I am, If we pick Sanders I will try to convince myself & all ya'll we got the best pick in the draft & will tell everyone who is against it you are full of shiiit....
 
The amount of time that the national and local media has spent on where he is/should go in the draft has been absolutely ridiculous, it’s a side show that has exceeded anything I’ve witnessed pre draft. I understand who daddy is but this has been over the top. ESPN and the NFL Channel have outdone themselves and wait until tonight when the Sanders conversations continue to be front and center.

Not at all...Simply indicative of what media attention Prime Sr/AND JUNIOR has gotten for 3 years...For 3 years Prime/Shadeur has been basically the main event each Saturday on College Football/Game Day...Alabama on TV ? Florida? Texas? Who cares let's tune in to COLORADO with Prime & Shadeur...

He's been basically the biggest name & watched personality in college for the last 2 years...Why would it stop now?

If any of the aforementioned teams are on, that’s who I’m watching, I watched a half of a Colorado game once and they kept scanning the sidelines showing former professional football and basketball players that had nothing to do with the University of Colorado. That seemed to be the show. Coach Prime and the circus.
 
Back in the day. I used to love me some Colorado players.

I'm not the biggest Shedeur fan but will be if the Steelers draft him. For anyone totally against him, at what point are the Steelers going to draft a QB? They'll be in the teens next year and there are going to be teams in need of a QB. The top-end talent isn't anywhere near advertised unless a lot of these 2026 prospects take a huge step forward. In fact, they will be just as flawed as what we are seeing now whether it is a strong arm with little accuracy, or poor pocket presence, etc. The Steelers at least have a young OL in place if Meyer can finally coach them up along with two studs at WR and a good TE. They'll add a RB in the draft, so the offense is set up for a young QB to succeed much better than it was when they drafted Pickett.

What hype? All I see is Sanders getting picked apart. No one is calling him a future All Pro or superstar right now. If the Steelers draft him, we just need him to be an above average starter and that is good enough to make some noise in the playoffs.

Wait till new contract negotiation time. THAT’S when the circus will really come to town! Anyone old enough to remember daddy’s playing days knows this. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as they say….

What was his competition? Who did he beat? There's only 1 QB in this draft worth a first round pick and it certainly isn't Deion Jr.
