Claypool had blocks on at least two of the big gains by Najee....the first one the one handed snag on the pass play and then the big run to set up the field goal

He has done a lot wrong this season but I forgive you Chase.....

He had a good game overall. Definitely a lot of ups and downs for him this year. Hopefully he can keep the "ups" going next week.
 
Claypool has grown imo since his epic screw up vs Minnesota. I noticed he was hustling back to the line when we were in hurry up late in the 4th quarter. Hopefully it's a sign he has learned from his mistakes and is maturing into a professional football player.
 
These kind of games really help the young player mature we might get beat in playoffs but the journey and the game is a stepping stone to next year… damn Ben’s really going out with a bang it’s like he’s got em right where he wants them!

oh I bash him plenty, but when he actually does something that helps in a key game situation, you have to at least acknowledge it

He is definitely an enigma....I keep waiting for him to break out the internal Hines Ward I think is in there. 😆

I agree. I gave him props in another thread. Hopefully he just keeps balling it out. And leaves the showboat out of it.

I thought he had a good game today,from the blocks,to his runs,to his catches. He was instrumental.
He is 23 years old,with 2 seasons now. I think he’s a huge part of the Steelers moving forward.👍🙂

23... Wow..I forget the fact that he's basically still a kid in today's world. Once he learns to run routes,,,, watch out. He came through today though....Good times

Yes JMM. He was in the black and gold at 21. I mean other players have years on him. I am not saying he hasn’t had maturity issues. I think Ju Ju was this young too? I could be wrong but my gut says Chase will be just fine. And I would love to have Ju Ju back.

Claypool is from BC ..... should be called something spun off ......... Western Larch not Maple ........... like the " Western Lurch "
