The University of Missouri

So there is an individual that got drunk and said "***** *** Nigga" about a week before this happened.

This same individual supposedly was overhead making derogatory remarks about Jews and a Jewish Fraternity.

This person lives on the floor where the tampering/hate crime occurred.

How long until we find out this person is black? Two more days? I doubt a white person in a room full of blacks yells at another white person and calls them "***** *** Nigga". That seems unlikely, right? If that happened, I doubt it would be the only white person in the room to report it, correct?

So now our lead suspect of the poop swastika is likely an african american.

I'm just trying to get my facts straight.

I took a class in grad school with a ultra-liberal professor (imagine that, right) who was tenured, etc. - could pretty much do whatever he wanted. Anyway, during the semester, there were no tests, papers, projects, etc. We just came to class and discussed health policy.

Someone asked him about how we were to be graded and he was real vague and non-committal and mentioned perhaps an essay style test on the last day.

So we show up the last day, and he says "I've really enjoyed this class, I think you're all very smart people with bright futures... A's for everyone!" So everyone got a participation medal.

That's how I see Mizzou as run by the inmates. A's for everyone!

Football coach Gary Pinkel just announced resignation at end of season due to "health concerns". More likely he's concerned about working in this nuthouse any longer.

It wouldn't surprise me if a mass exodus of white students start to apply for transfers after this semester and the Governor's office gets involved to sort this whole mess out.

You know what I see man......? Scripted, canned responses. I knew when I came to the God/Government forum that I would see a racially toned topic and with that I also knew the collective mindset would be just as what you've hinted at.......
SteelerNation/God & Government. Not a Safe Space.

Just when ya thought the entitlement and whininess "me, me me" had run their course. As a white man I'd like to apologize to the poor blacks "trapped" in their rooms for the thoughtlessness of the Parisian people who callously and without thought for you, allowed themselves t be slaughtered in the streets. May that minor happening pass quickly so we can get back to the truly tragic situation in Missouri. Have faith, we WILL get back to you!

Where did today’s college kids (or at least the ones at Amherst, Yale, Missouri, and Claremont McKenna), ever get the idea that college should be a “safe space”—free from judgments they don’t like or opinions that make them uncomfortable?

“Children are hardwired to play. That’s how we learn. But what happens when play is micro-managed? St. Lawrence University professor Steven Horwitz argues that it undermines democracy.

“Free play — tag in the schoolyard, pickup basketball at the park, etc. — is a very complicated thing. It requires young people to negotiate rules among themselves, without the benefit of some third-party authority figure. These skills are hugely important in life. When parents or teachers short-circuit that process by constantly intervening to stop bullying or just to make sure that everyone plays nice, Horwitz argues, ‘we are taking away a key piece of what makes it possible for free people to be peaceful, cooperative people by devising bottom-up solutions to a variety of conflicts.’

“The rise in ‘helicopter parenting’ and the epidemic of ‘everyone gets a trophy’ education are another facet of the same problem. We’re raising millions of kids to be smart and kind, but also fragile.”

Serious talk. Has a protest ever ****** up public opinion of them this quickly and thoroughly before? I can't think of one. ******* idiots in Missouri.

So accurate. Two harmless fights from my yute come to mind..........one where another kid and I were toe to toe, fists poised doing that "you throw the first punch" thing so common to fights among people who aren't real enemies but just reestablishing a pecking order. His mother came across the street and grabbed his arm dragging him away telling him "C'mon Chuckie, he'll fight with anyone." I'm thinking "yeah"?

The other one a friend and I were rolling around in the dirt throwing punches right next to his driveway when his dad rolled in from work, glanced over and continued on into the house not saying a word.

Kids have an amazing ability to self govern and more sense than we credit them with anymore. Go climb a ******* tree. Swing from an unsafe "Tarzan vine" (grape vines hanging from tree over gullies you city kids). Establish your own pecking order...it's instinctual....I don't mean bully.Gawd I hate that I want to sit here and rant about "kids these days." But seriously, da ****?

That is so true but there's a third option involved nowadays. Like your first example of the mother getting involved, we have a ' bigger', more influential "mother" in the White House these days and he is an Alinski trained expert at social unrest.

Barack Obama’s presidency has been pockmarked by rioting, looting and protests. That’s no coincidence. It’s what the former community organizer sought from Day One. And it’s just going to get worse before he leaves office. He learned to a fare-thee-well how to “rub raw the sores of discontent.”

Obama is returning the favor of his Alinsky masters, training and cloning an army of social justice bullies to carry on his revolution to “fundamentally transform America.” He’s doing it mainly through a little-known but well-funded group called Organizing for Action, or OFA, which will outlast his administration. OFA, formerly Obama for America, has trained more than 10,000 leftist organizers, who, in turn, are training more than 2 million youths in Alinsky street tactics.

The leftist group, which recently registered as a 501c4 nonprofit eligible for unlimited contributions, holds regular “organizing summits” on college campuses. Through social media, they mobilize flash mobs against “biased cops,” “climate-change deniers,” “Wall Street predators” and “gun extremists.” They hold rallies against conservative foes of gay marriage, LGBT rights, abortion and amnesty for illegal immigrants.

In addition, Obama has trained hundreds of thousands of junior agitators through AmeriCorps, a Clinton youth program he’s dramatically expanded, and through My Brother’s Keeper, the “racial justice” initiative he launched in the wake of the 2012 death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin. My Brother’s Keeper agitates for “school discipline reform” — that is, touchy-feely alternatives to suspensions and expulsions — and other measures to “improve outcomes for boys and young men of color.”

Alinsky’s 13th rule for radicals — “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it” — is getting harder to do, because there are fewer and fewer real targets from which to pick. That’s why today’s racism charges are so nebulous.

The police dogs, truncheons and firehoses of the civil-rights movement have been reduced to slights, slurs and symbols. Today’s discrimination is “unconscious” or “implicit.” Activists know it exists, they just can’t prove it. It’s “systemic,” yet they can’t find it.

These little flash-fascists are even cannibalizing the First Amendment that gives them the space to be obnoxious. These irritating, self-absorbed, belligerent brats will “hands-up, don’t shoot” themselves into every cobwebbed corner of society, and the liberal media will give them the national bullhorn to amplify their hatred every time.

Chronic social irritation can do lasting damage to the fabric of a nation. By falsely accusing people of racism . . . or sexism . . . or homophobia . . . or Islamophobia — or whatever other “ism” or phobia they come up with next — these agitators are creating angst and hatred in people’s hearts that wasn’t there previously.

But maybe that’s the objective.

I saw a quote this morning that rang true......

"What other tricks do they do? Throw their own feces? How long will it take before they realize the democrats are using them? They have debased themselves repeatedly, an soon, if those 30 million illegals receive amnesty, they will be at the back of the bus again."

Wichita State is planning a protest this week as well. Yay.

Wasn't George Washington a slave owner? Shouldn't we consider the demolition of the Washington Monument? Should GWU change it's name? W&J? Are you ******* kidding me?!?!

I'm sure many who think the banning of the confederate is a no-brainer, would think those suggestions are somehow ridiculous.
