The US Open at Oakmont

Good to see the PA. landscape on TV. A USGA major tourney near Pittsburgh .... Know what makes it even better? No Tiger.

Anyone ever been there during any of the times the US Open has been played there? Looks like a beautiful course.

Closest I have been to a major was at Ligonier Valley Country Club several years ago. It was a senior PGA major. I worked parking cars and we got free passes to go watch when done with our shifts. It was pretty cool. Watson was in the one group I was following. Watching golf is way different than on TV. As fire the course it was amazing. Walking on the FW was like walking on a sponge.

I had a chance to be a marshal there for the 1994 Open since I worked at AGH and they were a sponsor but then they wanted us to use our vacation time so we all said "Fawk you".

Terrible job by the USGA in dealing with that penalty stroke to DJ. Then the trophy presentation was just awful. I think the usga chick was drunk or something.

The USGA ****** up that bullshit penalty and DJ said take the penalty and shove it up your *** with that sweet birdie on 18 to seal the deal. Great win for him and a huge black eye for golf. They just changed that rule and they still ****** it up . The announcers thought they were wrong. The players thought they were wrong and the fans thought they were wrong. Reminds me of Goddell and the NFL.

And, WTF is up with Paulina? Damn she is hot! Could her dress have been any shorter? If you were at the bottom of the steps when she was walking down toward you, you definitely got a free peep show. Holy ****!
