I think our sweet spot with drafting lately has been the third round. Well, sometimes it's the fourth. Oh, I don't mean for actual players, I mean for words typed on a football form about guys who may or may not ever do **** in the NFL.

Listen, the tiny little dude we took in the 3rd this year, he looks like super fast. He also looks super small. Odds are, he's going to not make it, but then again, he might. With the kind of speed he brings, if he CAN get on the field, he's going to be the fastest guy on the field, period. If he proves he can catch at least sometimes, the defense is going to NEED to account for him. Now, all that being said, he might never do ****, but heck, it's a gamble, and given how the rest of the draft works, I'm pretty ok with the Steelers taking that gamble.

If he doesn't work out, he doesn't every year there are first rounders who don't, luckily as Steeler fans, we don't see too much of that here, but it does happen. Every year some UDFA ends up lighting **** up too, again as Steeler fans we don't see that a lot either, just here and there. If all your great players are UDFA's, you most likely suck at drafting, if every 3rd rounder you get is a megastar, then odds are EVERYONE ELSE sucks at drafting, since most time proven superstars aren't hanging out in the 3rd.

I don't have any idea how this kid will turn out, but if he swings just a few games the other way with that speed, I'm happy we got him, if he doesn't, well, I think we'll still win a few games this year, don't you?
