Not just because TARP and the "Stimulus" were useless wastes of money, but...

http://www.politico.com/story/2014/09/kay-hagan-husband-stimulus-cash-111339.html

When Kay Hagan voted for President Barack Obama’s 2009 economic stimulus package, the Democratic senator hailed it as “the best way forward for working families across North Carolina.”One of the families that later benefited is her own.

JDC Manufacturing, a company co-owned by the Democratic senator’s husband, Chip, received nearly $390,000 in federal grants for energy projects and tax credits created by the 2009 stimulus law, according to public records and information provided by the company.

Meanwhile:

Hagan’s GOP opponent, statehouse Speaker Thom Tillis, voted in 2010 to allow the state to participate in the federal renewable energy tax credit program, which benefited a bank in which he owns at least $50,000 in stock.

I, seriously, doubt that Tillis benefit nearly to the extent the Hagan's did, but that is only a matter of degree. The point is that these "stimulus" packages end up as payoffs rather than actually stimulating anything other than contributions to "representatives".

That's why I've always said that smaller government is better for everybody (except those in government) because it's not always going to be run by my side and it's not always going to be run by the other side.

Somebody should write down a set of rules for government that tells them what they can and can't do....maybe limit the roll of the Federal Government to 19 or so things....

You mean the thing they don't teach in school anymore?

This crazy talk has been duly noted by the authorities. Please report to your nearest re-education center immediately.

Yes , the "stimulus" was nothing more than a payoff. None of those that were paid off made any significant contribution to job creation. It was "all for them". But there are still plenty in this country that will vote communist..er..um...I mean democrat.

The Solyndra loan was nothing more than the outright theft of $570 million taxpayer dollars. I'd like to see a list of who ended up with chunks of that stash.

I keep hearing that the Apollo Alliance, run by Van Jones really had their hands in the initial Pelosi/Reid version but the way it was distributed, after the written bill was finally passed.... was pure nepotism.

Obama Stimulus Package Breakdown

What is the money being spent on-general breakdown between infrastructure, tax cuts, etc…?

Some highlights of the package, by the numbers:

• $825 billion total (as of 1/15/09)

• $550 billion in new spending, described as thoughtful and carefully targeted priority investments with unprecedented accountability measures built in. Bwahahahaha( This money just flat disappeared as far as I can tell )

• $275 billion in tax relief ($1,000 tax cut for families, $500 tax cut for individuals through SS payroll deductions)

• $ 90 billion for infrastructure ( Something hanky here too, cause they need money now for failing infrastructure )

• $ 87 billion Medicaid aid to states

• $ 79 billion school districts/public colleges to prevent cutbacks

• $ 54 billion to encourage energy production from renewable sources ( LOL. this is another well documented fiasco )

• $ 41 billion for additional school funding ($14 billion for school modernizations and repairs, $13 billion for Title I, $13 billion for IDEA special education funding, $1 billion for education technology)

• $ 24 billion for "health information technology to prevent medical mistakes, provide better care to patients and introduce cost-saving efficiencies" and "to provide for preventative care and to evaluate the most effective healthcare treatments." ( I think the VA musta got all this money...NOT )

• $ 16 billion for science/technology ($10 billion for science facilities, research, and instrumentation; $6 billion to expand broadband to rural areas) ( yep, cowboy poets and new NSA "big brother" equipment )

• $ 15 billion to increase Pell grants by $500

• $ 6 billion for the ambiguous "higher education modernization." (A lot of money went to the teachers union....er, I mean schools )

The Solyndra loan was nothing more than the outright theft of $570 million taxpayer dollars. I'd like to see a list of who ended up with chunks of that stash.

here ya go hamster....http://dailysignal.com/2012/10/18/president-obamas-taxpayer-backed-green-energy-failures/

Libertarians are the only ones who are in favor of smaller government and drastic reductions in Federal spending. Conservatives and Liberals just want to spend a lot of money only on different things.

There are ten commandments, not 19.

And you call yourself a Christian.
Comedy gold.

You're so clueless that you don't even know how clueless you are.

You're so humorless that you couldn't tell what a joke was with a dictionary open to the page with "joke" on it.
I think you're the one who didn't get the joke, Skippy.
