Atlanta put up lots of points on the cheese heads and have a wide out that is tall fast and goes up for the ball. He might be dinged up a bit so we do not know if we face him or not. I would say this guy needs to be covered under and over and just maybe have a third guy on him short, like a linebacker to hit him every play. The guy seems to be most of their offense, and given our short falls on defense if he is healthy it could be a long day for the black and gold.

This game could be another that we **** the bed on if not well prepared for and taken very seriously.:rolleyes:

Arguably the best team in the NFL playing a dome team at home in cold weather and just pulling out a win. Was GB unprepared, poorly coached, **** the bed, or is it just another of many examples that in the NFL "on any given Sunday (0r Mon.)"? I'm sure if it was us it would have added 30 pages to "fire Tomlin".

If Julio plays, we could be doomed

I'd watch the Detroit, Baltimore, and Cleveland games to see what they did against him, and see if we could duplicate that at all. It might not be a problem if we can find a way to get pressure on Ryan. I love me some Ike and what he has done for the team, but if he trots out against Jones, you can guarantee that they will go at him early and often just like the Bengals did.

Pressure Matt Ryan.

Will he help our defense? Will he be to tired to play ? LOL (KARMA)

Hulio hurt his hiop meaning he will be a tad slower. Might be just enough for IKE to handle him. Ike isn't written off just yet, so lets see. I do agree with help but think three guys may be a little over. They have another player, Roddie white, he could get on a roll. I say this game needs a little planning, but a VERY winable game. Our offense can put numbers on their D as we have great matchups in our favor.

Our best bet is to put Blake on Julio with a safety over top. Harry Douglas and Shy Roddy are going to eat us alive on the underneath stuff but I would rather have that than Jones running free down the field. Blake has the speed to keep up with him and is a pretty good tackler so that should hopefully leave not a lot of YAC on those quick passes when trying to get Jones the ball. If McCain is a go I would put him on Douglas since his speed should neutralize Douglas speed and agility. And I think in this stage of his career William Gay can man up on Shy Roddy and not get abused. White will get his catches but I think Gay can win more matchups than lose.

Ok I fixed my typo in the original post.

Taylor people? At this point we might as well sign Terry Hawthorne back and put him out there. Taylor is done and at this point I wouldn't have him on the field even in Dime packages.

Did the packers lose the game?? Oh, they didnt??

And the packers have to do with the Steelers how??

I just hope Jones and White are dinged up enough to not be 100%. I can see the Falcons getting up by double digits early. They're at home, the place will be loud and it's a game they desperately need.

The STEELERS are going down there to "ROCK" their house. Our notoriously slow starting QB, will come out a little hotter, but turn it up, before the half.Couple stops from the "D", we get a turn over, we UP by 9 at the half.

Tuff game ahead to say the least.... But I have a hunch this is Blake's coming out party... He will be tested and I think he going to show he is ready. I think the secondary could be fine if lebeau would play things straight up. His "complicated" schemes seem to confuse our players I.e Mitchell, more the the other team.

Ummm, difference is the Packers won the game, I think that's a pretty big difference than losing at home to say Tampa.

We need our 40 points Ben.

git er done

5 WIDE *******!!!

Team with a bad record who can occasionally play well. We're totally ******.

Ben got his tight spiral back - in a nice warm dome.

I like our chances

Their defense shouldn't be able to handle our offense either. If the offense gets/stays on the throttle they will do just fine. Defensively we all know we are lacking in talent. It will likely take at least thirty points for us to defeat anybody, regardless of their record coming into the game.

Yep, not like they have a common loss or the Packers got blown out by 21 points by the Saints ...err ummm yeah.

Yes, of course, the "Fire Tomlin" thread is rife with termination demands based on games he won.

3 losses to the horrible Raiders, losses to awful teams like Tampa Bay (at home), Jets, Browns x 2, Chiefs, Titans, Chargers (at home in December with playoffs at stake), Vikings, Bears, Dolphins (at home in December with playoffs at stake) ... yeah, those games had nothing to do with the criticism of Tomlin.

It's all about his victories and skin color.

Or maybe the criticism is well-founded, and predicated on the 13 losses in less than six seasons, as detailed above.

Naaaaaaah ...

Just messing with yaz Wingman (KARMA need to spread before I can give)

I think my typo was more bothersome to me than anyone else, everyone else was able to figure out what I meant to type even if I wasn't for awhile. When I reread the post I said to myself, self WTF?

Excellent post, some folks just can't have a discussion regarding leadership with out carrying the race crutch with them. When ever you decide to vote or decide based on your skin color you will always be superficial and miss the most important qualities regarding the person in question.

Sorry steeltime the karma police say no.
