Lazy offensive linemen standing around watching their guy get tackled. Slow, winded. We really do miss Munch

Yep they’ve been terrible all year. No running room for Conner, consistent pressure on Rudolph.. who are these guys?

They are getting old and we resigned the weak link Foster when a better and cheaper player is waiting in the wings.

In defense of the OL, we lost a great coach, and the 49ers showed Rudolph little respect. The OL only gave up two sacks. The loss of McDonald hurt. The loss of Nix hurt. Conner needs to run a little harder. The play calling wasn't very good in the first half. Neither was Rudolph.

In terms of the offense, the OL is the one unit I still have faith in.

They are not running plays that are conducive to a good running game with the current state of the air attack. I put the blame on the coaches more than the line. The formations suck the plays suck the flow of calls suck. If Tomlin doesn't step in and make a change I will be on the it is his time to go bandwagon. The OC is either stupid or has no ability to call a game and should just be a position coach.

Pass protection seems good....they gave Mason descent time vs a excellent 49'ers Defense. There is something wrong with Conner.....he's dancing around the line of scrimmage.......Big Al looks old and slow.....Steelers will need to replace him at LT. He's really struggling....I think his age is starting to catch up to him.

So now the Oline is in decline.....So even if Mason looks good enough to give us a future the oline will get him killed and take 5 years off his NFL career just like they did Ben.

Like I been saying for about the last 8 or 9 years. Its always something with this team.

Love Big Al for all he’s done, but he was abused today, AND had an awful ineligible man downfield penalty on a play that provided us a little life. Very next play after the penalty? A ******* interception. Least penalized team in the league today, but there were some extremely bad ones today, at the worst of times.

They cannot open up a running lane to save their lives.

Tomlin has finally gotten the chance to put his stamp on that group too, now that he has gotten the D running just the way he wants it.

They suck! I don't care what anyone says. They are only good at pass protecting for Big Ben. Rudolph had guys in his face all game long. Our runners were getting hit behind the line all game long and that happens every game. Not a single one of them should make the pro bowl this year.

Yeah, very disappointing when the one supposed 'strength' of the team let's us down. With all that's going on, to have the O-line play this ****** might just be the biggest dissapointment of them all. Well, besides the play of Mark Barron.

They've been overrated for a long time. I think Bell's unorthodox running style and Ben learning to dump it off quickly made them look a whole lot better.
Rudolph was pressured constantly. He had very little time to throw most of the game, despite what I've read here. He didn't have time to look for a receiver, and our stupid OC just won't call plays that let the QB get rid of the ball quickly. You know, like 31 other teams do.
Munchak was the best coach we had on the team. Maybe the only coach?
Pouncey and DeCastro are good, not great. The rest are bums. Foster has always been a bum.
If you want a great line, you either get a great coach to teach them techniques and how to get away with holding, or draft one in the 1st round every 2 years. We squander most of our first round picks on mediocre defensive players.
And that's how you get totally dominated on both sides of the ball the first 3 games of the season.

The O L didn't suddenly go dumb and forget how to pass and run block because Mike Munchack is gone. They look slow, lethargic and just plain old out there and that is a huge issue for this team. If anything they know that Munchack is not around to jump on their ***** when they don't play well.

Conner need to run a little harder ? Where into the OL's back because there are no consistent running lanes for any of the RB's ..the run blocking has been as bad as I can remember

The OL was the one spot on this team I thought was a still and absolute strength; but not even close this year.

I’ll admit to concern over losing MM; but damn these guys should know what they are doing much better after being Unit for so long

Barron pisses me off so f'ing bad! That is two ILB's they brought in during FA in back to back years that were going to help fill the hole in the middle of the field. And, in both instances, our GM and coaches seem to have completely swung and missed.

Can anyone explain that call? Cause that was a speed out. Thousand one, thousand two, ball out. How the **** could Al gotten illegally down field. He has to get out of stance. There would be some type of contact. What happened?

The reason the OL looked bad yesterday is because they didn't respect the passing game. They filled the lanes and took conner out of it. That forces the 2nd year QB to beat them over the top. Something the game plan didn't call for. Everything was around the LOS. I'm not saying they played great but I'm not sure what else they could do when you have 8-9 man fronts, a young QB and no WRs that can get open.

At some point Rudolph is going to have to make tough throws to back the defense off. The D doesn't respect him so they are stacking the line and just sending more than we can block, so there's going to be zero running lanes and pressure. Jimmy G was under pressure all day, but made alot of big throws while under alot of pressure. The Oline does have to be better, but Mason is going to have himself and that line out.

Big al back to back games has been getting no push he is done cut him in the off season

The O line was facing a lot of 8 man fronts. But, that''s where coaching comes in. Why wasn't the O expecting that? Teams are going to force Rudolph to beat them. Have a lot of short, quick throws ready for him to loosen up the D's.. Don't send everyone deep. The line can''t hold up long enough. Put Samuels in the game as Rudolphs dump off or relief valve. Tomlin and Fichtner should have made that adjustment if they were dumb enough not to expect it from the beginning. Every game will be like this until Rudolph and our O start beating teams.
