The official record is 22.5 (Strahan, 2001). The unofficial record is 23.0 (Al Baker, 1978).
TJ Watt has 24 Pressures. This puts him on pace for 64 pressures by season's end. The highest PFR has ever recorded was Aaron Donald in 2018 at 70. (Side note: PFR pressures only go back to 2018) (Extra side note: Harold Landry also has an unbelievable 33 pressures so far this year.)
Another fun fact about TJ Watt's: he also leads the NFL in FF since being drafted with a total of 20 in 68 games. Meaning he roughly forces a fumble once every 3 and half games.

As for DPOY, he's been arguable snubbed twice so a third wouldn't surprise anyone. What would be surprising is if he actually won it, not in his abilitly but just the fact the rog allowed it to be awarded to him.

In the last few games as soon as he is close, when he does get a sack there will be a penalty against the defense nullifying his sack. There will be no special Brett Favre giving up a sack for Strahan.
