Multiple reports coming in on Saturday morning that Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro EDGE rusher, TJ Watt has now been downgraded to OUT vs. the Cincinnati Bengals for Week 3.
Watt, who was limited in practice all week, expressed that he wasn’t going to rule himself out for Sunday, but it looks like the team is using caution with their newly paid defensive star.
We will have more details regarding Watt’s groin injury as the week progresses. Look for LB Melvin Ingram III and LB Jamir Jones to now have increased roles this week with LB Alex Highsmith also ruled out for Sunday.
