The Pittsburgh Steelers appear to have escaped a major injury for linebacker TJ Watt, but it’s likely he will still miss some time.

According to multiple reports Watt will have an MRI this morning to determine the exact damage that the star pass rusher has. It isn’t expected to be a major injury, but still enough to force him out for the second time this season.

From @GMFB: After discussing the knee injury for #Browns QB Baker Mayfield, we delved into #Steelers star pass-rusher TJ Watt, who is week-to-week with hip and knee ailments. He’ll have more tests today, but the sack master is expected to miss some time. pic.twitter.com/nzc1akxU9o

Watt currently is second in the NFL in sacks with 12.5.

Thanks for the update Justin.!

Things of this nature will dough-rise upon the heat of the game. We will take exception of the acuracey of the MRI which will occure around Monday day light savings time. Some will try to impead the process with early diagnosis and possibly be contributing to the pop-corn array.

Butter fixes most things.

Man ingram would have been getting all the playing time… good luck taco!!!
I like Butler’s quote about him after they traded him (or whenever it was), about thinking you’re better than you are…….Dude has made a whole two tackles, and nothing else, since being traded for.

Maybe next year we finally keep five olbs, especially since they always want one to be a special teams ace…

Hip and knee injuries are nagging injuries that take at least a month of recovery.
Especially for TJ cause he has to be explosive off the line and having to push into linemen. I just hope the strength staff and the medical staff are smart with his rehabilitation

Relieved to hear the relatively good news on Watt's injuries.
It’s still one of those joint related injuries that can turn worse at any notice. Best to approach this smartly. I want TJ to be a force for the Steelers for a long time

So jaylon smith… is he done or just didn’t fitvthe packers?

The guy is getting paid by the Cowboys regardless so he is a league minimum signing if we get him, but I don’t know why the pack cut him after a couple weeks

From everything I've read about him is that he can't play anymore.

Somebody get Ray The Knife on the phone and order some antler spray. And LOTS of it.

So there are a couple low end edge rushers still available out there… nothing too great… honestly id bring back someone with a knowledge of the system like Eliott or skipper.. both are free agents and both plaued here before
