This is a really good podcast. And I'm glad Aaron called Jonnu out. Rodgers gets a bad rap for being a jerk...well this is the reason why you need to be a jerk sometimes. These guys are all too comfy, too comfy collecting paychecks and delivering JV performances and too comfy with their JV committment. And yes we can blame that on the head coach. That's why these guys are bums, some like Austin are just average and easy to push off their routes and manhandle in the first 5 yards because of their size. Others like Wilson are limited in their route running abilities. And some like Muth for some idiotic reason are being kept out.
Now bringing in Thielen makes sense...I mocked bringing him in, but he's a good route runner and can get open in the short game.He's a vet that is not going to make mistakes like Jonnu made. Bringing him in though is an indictment of just how much garbage we have that isn't named Metcalf. And a desperation move coming after not acquiring a legit #2.
Listen to this whole thing. Lots of good truth in here. Who'syourmomma actually says some of these guys are dummies and are great athletes, but have trouble with concepts.
