STOP going into Baltimore like they are still the team you had to be careful against in the past. EVERY ******* year we go in there with an ultra conservative "keep it close" bullshit gameplan and we get our ***** handed to us by a **** team. They were a **** team last year, and they are a **** team this year, but we go in all "ohhh, they're so tough, we gotta protect and keep it close". Run run pass punt, run on 3rd and 8 or some ****? Are you kidding me?

STOP IT ALREADY. The ******* Ravens suck. We go in next time, start from the ******* shotgun, and open that damn game up from the first play. Run when they are daring you to, but pass the **** out of it till they do. They start dropping everyone back in coverage, sure, punch em in the mouth and take a 5 yard gain up the middle to let em know that **** won't fly. If they're crowding the line and the short routes like they were yesterday, you put Bell, Brown, Rogers, and Coates on deep routes, with maybe one TE on a short emergency dump off route should they get cute with a blitz, and you burn the **** outta that, all day long.

STOP playing scared, you *****. Play like you think you're gonna stomp their *****, and then just go do it. I HATE watching a team beat itself, and we've seen FAR to much of that with the combination of ****** game prep, ****** playcalling, and sloppy execution. I can handle the execution problems when at least it looks like you're putting the play on the field with the best chance given what we know about the other team. They were 4th against the rush, why the **** did we spend three quarters running for no ******* gain, when we could have air raided the **** out of that **** team?

UGH.

Joe

I watched the interviews today as well as replayed the game without all the yelling and acting a fool. This team had no idea we were playing The Rats. No emotion, nothing, as if just another game and that is how they played. Out coached and outplayed, out hit. We have no one that wants to be a leader, no one that wants to put it on the line, when you watch the replay it really stands out. Baltimore except for the Wallace run and the block kick did not do much, yet we stood around did not get aggressive, and lost. It is hard to watch. I listen to the emotion of the fans here , put the Steelers to shame.

Tomlin's explanation was we didn't want to be one dimensional to quick.
Well our one dimensional 4th qtr offense threw for 188 yards, scored two TD's and had a 3rd one dropped.

all wrapped up in a continuing trend

And no the Ravens were not in a prevent, they wanted a shut out, they were still pressing our wrs and blitzing, even a db blitzed a few plays

I believe the Ravens were 4th against the run and 6th against the pass or vice versa.Thats not really to shabby.

Didn't want to be one dimensional? What a ******* joke. Get your all world QB and all world WR in the game early against an average secondary, THEN destroy the 4th ranked run D on the ground with your all world RB when they are forced to to fall back. He is so ******* stupid I'd laugh at it if it didn't make me so mad

Whatever they were against the pass, they had faced the Bills, the Browns, the Jags, then the Raiders (good qb there), The Redskins (Cousins isn't exactly Montana) the Giants (Eli has been hot and cold this year) and then the Jets. I mean, it's not like they are all scrub teams, but do ANY of those names at qb have the rep our qb and number one WR do? We're SUPPOSED to have the best wr in the game, and one of the best qb's. Not to mention, Bell is in my opinion the best back, so it stands to reason they are going to put as much effort as possible locking up those players, so do we have other wr's on this team? Cause I think rogers looks great, and hamilton did pretty well when Landry was playing catch with him against the Pats, so spread that **** out and make them defend, then gash them when they drop people in coverage to stop you.

I just don't see how our fantastic and super talented offense looks THIS ******,

Joe

We have to get that mojo back. It's been gone for a good period of time now. If we have any identity right now I'd call "half ***" that's what they do. They need to put it all on the table and ******* go for it. If you're going to get beat make sure they other team bleeds to do it.

LACK of our "badassinism" is a trend directly related to our coaching trend !!!!

Salute the nation

trendddddddddddddds how many of us have them

losing to bottom feeders
Bell says it lack of practice, focus
points right toward the leaders

too much under-performing
with the talent surrounding
want to sniff another SB?
not with this ding-a-ling

team is undisciplined
looking sloppy as hell innnnn here
yep stuck in mediocrity
is what I fear

players play and coaches coach
well **** then start coaching smartly
would be a nice appoach

Here we go Steelers
wut ? I never lie

It had a QB in his first game back from knee surgery, a center in his first game snapping, a RT starting in his first game in 6 weeks, 2 wr's injured, and playing against the 2nd ranked D in the NFL. Try that for starters.

That's all well and good but what about being embarrassed by a Dolphins team that can't get out of their own way.

4 in a row to that same team. They had Ryan Mallet starting along with 8 guys off the street last time. What's the excuse for the last 3?

Tomlin knew exactly what he was doing -
Mike Tomlin admitted as much without saying the words. The coach said they went with a conservative game plan in part to protect Roethlisberger because of his comeback from knee surgery nearly three weeks earlier.

He also said part of the reason they did not open things up on offense earlier than the fourth quarter was they felt they did not have to because Baltimore had not scored much.

“You know, as long as they weren’t moving it and scoring, we weren’t extremely uncomfortable with how the game was unfolding,” Tomlin said during his weekly news conference Tuesday. “If you look at the offense in a vacuum, it could make you uncomfortable with how the game was unfolding. But we were largely stopping them as well.”

Tomlin said they really did not think they had to open things up until Baltimore scored on a blocked punt to give the Ravens a 21-0 lead with 13:36 left.

They were not extremely uncomfortable with the way the game was unfolding. Guess it was just us idiot fans. Tomlin sucks.
