of course they are UH guys

Logan Hall DL has played inside and outside on the DL

6'6" 278 Arms 33 3/8 hands 9 5/8

good length and could likely care more weight at the next level

most likely a DE in the nfl. I see him as a second rounder unless someone falls in love with him like the saints did Peyton Turner last year

the kid plays hard and has a great motor. Plays to the whistle no matter where the ball has gone, he is chasing it. 13 TFLs with 6 sacks.

Marcus Jones CB 5'8" 185

undersized but speedy and will fight for the ball with over sized WRs. willing tackler and a demon on KR and PR

If he was bigger he would go early round 1 without a doubt. Likely a 3rd rounder or so, but his return ability could sway some teams

5 ints 1 FF 13 PDs and 2 PR and 2 KR TDs

played some at WR also, very versatile player won the Paul Hornung award last year, great at the slot corner spot and very capable outside but can lose contact with the WR on deeper routes but has plenty of speed to make up for some mistakes. had a hundred yard pick six called back on a stupid block on the qb after the pick.

I have been snagging him more often in mocks. I think he has the speed that Hilton didn't. By the draft the hope is they locked up an outside corner. That would help solidify the secondary.

RIght now I would expect 5th at the earliest more likely a 6 or 7th rounder

Thanks Coolie and at 6th or 7th sounds / looks like I'd take that marker, specially in the 7th if he fell to there.

I like smith in second or third if we’re lucky got to have a Penn state linebacker on the team maybe with Colbert gone well go back to looking at homegrown talent. If you aren’t playing for a podunk college in the Midwest the Steelers aren’t interested in you

This is the most toss up draft prognostication in the two months before the draft that I can remember since Troy Edwards. Once the pro days occur, we might get some clearer focus, but right now Colbert is keeping everything close to vest. I’ll pull for players from the schools I follow closely, but I got nothing for what the tendencies appear to be.

he would like awesome in Black and Gold

Trevor McDuffie CB Washington

If he runs a little slower than I think he plays (something like 4.52, rather than the 4.42 he looks like when he is playing), he miiiiiight last until 52. Probably not.

Also, OT Cordell Volson, ND State. If he weighs 325 lbs., he moves up the draft board, possibly going in the 5th ... where the Steelers have no pick. He is going to be a very good RT for somebody. He abuses people in the run game. Huge guy, has some fixable issues in the pass game since he is very tall (6'7") and can get in trouble by reaching instead of using his long arms and footwork to seal off the speed rush.

P.S. Coolie, Logan Hall is becoming a guy I really like. You're right that he projects as an excellent DE, but he could play DT alongside Heyward for the Steelers in their pass-rush dime. His motor is very Watt-like - non-stop, all out, no give-up for this guy. Hall, Heyward, Watt and Highsmith could destroy offensive lines.

Lance Zierein who does the prospect gradings for NFL.com has him graded out at 6.27 which is tied for 54th overall and 7th among CBs

Logan Hall is at 6.21

Damarian WIlliams at a 5.80

Logan with a 4.88 in the 40

There is some impressive big boys in this draft.

Houston has done well to put themselves yearly on the draft map. I can remember a time you might pick a player up in the 6th or 7th if that. But not of recent. Season after season higher profile players. Screams of better recruiting and teaching.

For me this year I want to say the slot/dime/sub package corner gets my attention the most as I feel that is an area that can use upgrading. I think the FO will upgrade outside in free agency not necessarily inside.

Depot threw this up.

I didn't know he could return kicks. I like him better than Ray Ray, and would find a replacement option for Ray Ray in the slot as opposed to resigning him, though we probably will since he'll be cheap.

I only mention that in every post pimping him and Jones has played wr also
