See, prior to 2010, the middle pf the field was a death trap for Wrs.. Safeties and Lbs were headhunters.. they'd end your season or career with a slobber knocker.. that was the era Tomlin's systems came from. Coverage outside. Killer hitters inside.. he saw tge middle as a place a guy was gonna get lit up and potentially lose the ball.. so he avoided it

Sigh. Echols leaves practice with lower leg injury. Limped off and head down on sidelines.
Sounds like a minor ankle issue..
