Yes it’s funny Blitz. I just posted his combine numbers in another thread. Troy was one of a kind.

Troy was the kind of player that kept you glued to the screen. Just so much want to + talent + instincts. The perfect football player.
He'd also make you throw stuff at the TV when he miscalculated but fortunately the good far outweighed the bad, or the ugly.

Playing an all time game and this is who I drafted so far. (People gobble up Steelers quickly)

Peyton Manning
Emmitt Smith

Dick Butkus
Ray Nitschke
Troy Polamalu

Probably will pick TJ Watt and then Franco as we can have two RBs.Then I'll add in some trenches and WRs maybe pick the Assassin too.

The second coming...Shamarko Thomas was supposed to make us forget all about Troy, and we traded up with the Clowns to get him.
I can't understand how an organization like the Pittsburgh Steelers could make such horrible choices...Bush, Jarvis Landry, Thomas.

What if just by chance, I am older than 20 ???

Not that we didn't have other good players on that defense but it was definitely built around Troy's athletic ability and instincts. Without him it doesn't happen.

I think Troy guessed alot and when he was wrong he had the athletic ability to make up for it. It also made plays that would have been normally routine look impressive. On the flip side when he guessed right he made plays that no one else could. Also have to give some credit to Clark for covering for Troy and letting Troy be Troy. My biggest knock on Troy was his tackling form. He often tackled like a human missile and probably shortened his career a few years.

NO chance involved.

I’d like to be involved with Chans

I was friends with this girl (since childhood), we called her Chans, Her formal name was Chansellor (sp). Weird name but beautiful chick, great friend !!!

I'm not as hard on Shamarko, he was a 4th rounder.

Landry was a waste, never draft anyone with Landry in their name...

Bush was great for a year and a half, and last year he was solid. Just didn't live up to his draft status.

I remember his first year growing pains. He looked horrible at times. Lol One of my all time favorites.

I started this thread after a kid in my neighborhood as me who Troy was. I was wearing his jersey, playing a game of football with local kids.

I asked the kid to look up his highlights. We just talked again today. He thinks Troy was the most exciting player he ever saw video of.

his dad a Raven fan even admitted he was damn good. And of course the dad had to bring up Ed Reed

Ed Reed was one of the top safeties of all time, and only the second best safety in the Steeler/Rat clashes. i dud hear he was gonna run 4 Prez or something.

I cant remember the guy on here that called him a bustola after his rookie year.
Oh he peeks in occasionally. Won’t say much anymore as he has been caught lying more than Alex Murdaugh did on the witness stand. I think it’s attributed to his big head.
