What do you guys make our our 2014 2nd round pick? He's big and strong, but not very fast or aware. Tuitt had but one tackle in New England Game.

I'm still waiting for him to "get it ". It might take a few more games. Or it might not happen. I'm on the fence here.

really wish Tomlin would have played him sooner, especially when Cam Thomas was terrible last season.

He looked good at the end of last year and looked good before his injury in the pre-season. This was his first action since the injury so I am not concerned one bit. With his ankle injury, my guess is he was playing at best at 90%.

I actually think Tuitt will be fine. He has been hurt and just saw his first game action since the GB preseason game so I'm sure the rust was there. He played well toward last season's end and I think he gets it but was just getting acclimated to the speed of the game again. Tuitt will be fine. My bigger concern is NT not Tuitt or Heyward.

NT for sure. We know who Heyward is. He's a good player who had a bad game.

How did we get Coach to leave the first time?

I don't think he's 22 yet and in his 2nd season. Not so sure you've got it yet!

Really, I'm more concerned about the First Round DE that just got a big payday looking like a star. He has looked very average this year and has a tendency to disappear for games on end. Only to flash and take a game over every so often.

Heyward has the same issue that every player on this defense has.... consistency. He has games where you think he's going to be a star. Then you won't see him for a game or two.

I'm thinking tuitt will "get to it" with a little playing time. It takes a little time off injury to get full football speed recovered.

Salute the nation

That's right. Incredible, isn't it? What I can't figure is why? Do they just have short attention spans? Are they just, because of the big money or something, not as dedicated to their craft as guys may have been before?

What exactly was Tuitt suppose to do when Brady was getting rid of the ball to his wide opener receivers? No one was pressuring him.

Well the D-line and the linebackers will be tested this week. San Fran is coming to run it down their throats. Better be ready this game will be won and lost in the trenches on both sides.

The defense cannot goddamn pressure ANYBODY when the defensive backs are 7 yards off the @#$%ing receivers and the ball is out in less than 2 seconds. Jesus, the opponent genuinely does not need any @#$%ing blockers since it would take at least 2 seconds to cover the ground between where the defensive line starts and the QB in shotgun position.

It's the same thing every time we play them. Give Brady time and he picks us apart. Pressure him, especially up the middle, and it's a different story.

perhaps we should cut him?
