In waking news today, the STEELERS gained extra ground, on this up coming game. OC Todd Haley, has it solid, that he won't need to be at the air port for this game. He has declared that he will not only be on time, but also be at the right place.
More news out of team camp, the entire "D" has dedicated the remainder of this season, to winning. They feel they have come a long way, but yet, need to finish it out. ALL THE WAY, was a commen chant amongst the locker room.
The weather has been a concern to both the players and coaches. Ben Rothlesburger has had his "hands" measured, to see if barometric pressure has anything to do with hand size. Good news, it doesn't and he feels he is good to go.
Players, took the time to personally say thank you to the Steel Hard Core FANs of the PITTSBURGH STEELERS !!! Along the way, some focus was lost but has now been regained. Say for a few wet Vj's and nincompoops, they (players) feel they have a VERY solid fan base.
Coach Tomlin feels the teams splash play has the arrow pointing up, so to speak. Also, Obviously, he feels losing a player of the caliber of L.Bell, is a great loss, but others will need to step up and play above the line, to erase that void, so to speak.
The media, mostly talking heads, are discounting the STEELERS as due to the loss of L.Bell. Acting as if the team has no chance, past Bell. There are an entire franchise, that says differently. The talking heads will emerge as the #1 bandwagoner's. OK by this local media outlet as I do know the final prize is ours to take. Bell will help, but until then, (sing) we will survive.
I speak for the town of PITTSBURGH and the many many towns through out the USA, We strongly support our team / players / owners / fans. We always want a win, but are loyal in a loss. We all do many different rituals, superstitious or not, but live for the same ending. Weather it be the colors we wear, the decal in the windo, our liscense plates, barn banner declairing our loyalty, or even just the comoderie of the topic, we all LOVE OUR PITTSBURGH STEELERS !!!!!!!!!
The entire team has now huddled for that famous Joey Porter trip......... He is starting, HOLD it, what is this? LeVion has stepped in,...... he is wispering some thing to joey................. Joey nods his head and listens............. Joey is stepping back, proudly declairing, LeVion, take this one home for me.............
