Cortez Allen did play very well this last game and I am not sure if that is because he stepped up his game or he was playing against a rookie QB. I will give him the credit for now and see how he fairs the next few weeks.

I guess that was against a bad QB/WR. I think Allen has played as well so far as Lewis did in his 3rd year and Lewis had the luxury of Ike always on the #1 wr.

Regardless of of opponent / quality / experience, a win is a win. I'm glad Cortez got the int. and hope for more to come. Does it really matter if its against high or low competition? We won on that day and he will be better player for that. Take em as we get em!!!

Suposively he recognized the play from playing the Jaguars twice per year in the division and knew to jump the route. Great work either way. The issue I have is that the Steelers Offense only produced 10 points against a horrid, broken, rag tag defense. Beating an 0-4 team 10-9 (essentially) is breathtaking bad. Listening to Charlie Batch and whomever that other ******** was after the game....trying to make Haley out to be a great OC..."His offense is 5th in yards" bullshit. Yards dont mean a damn thing. It's all about the points.
