Mexican't, I think.Wait. Coolie is Mexican???
That said. That probably was one of my biggest disappointments....when we didn't even get a 1st down on that last drive.
I would like to be included in the bad memory listing. I would tell you specific incidents but I can’t recall what they were related to.You and SteveO have bad memories. Big Ben’s first play on that last drive was a 15 yarder to Heath. Resulting in obviously a first down. Next play was a 5 yard pass to Hines. I was fully confident that Ben was going to lead them down the field for glory. The next 3 passes seemed to happen in mere seconds, and it was over in an instant. Easily the most disappointing drive for me in all the games I’ve watched as a Steeler fan.
Ben could've & would've changed where he ranks All-Time if he comes back & wins that game...He'd be top 15...He's probably about top 20-25 All-timeThat said. That probably was one of my biggest disappointments....when we didn't even get a 1st down on that last drive.
You are correct. Had to rewatch the last drive and sure enough Heath caught a pass to start the drive. You and SteveO have bad memories. There was no doubt in my mind that Ben was going to drive us down the field to make it interesting. I was like a slap in the face when it didn't happen.Ben could've & would've changed where he ranks All-Time if he comes back & wins that game...He'd be top 15...He's probably about top 20-25 All-time
If he is I hope he gets caught and deported.Wait. Coolie is Mexican???
Coolie is a Mick, as Irish as they come, he's probably peeling potatoes as we speak. There are a lot of Mexicans that are Steeler fans. I believe Cowboys and Steelers 1 and 2 from what I had read some time ago.
Coolie would feel right at home.
I would think the Raiders are #1...That's all you see here in SoCal...Their Latino/Mexican fans represent in Raider gear ALL OVER though California NORTH AND SOUTH & they are in VEGAS now. There are a lot of Mexicans that are Steeler fans. Here's a more detailed look at the Steelers' relationship with Mexican fans:
- Significant Fan Following:
The Steelers have a massive fanbase in Mexico, with a large number of followers on social media platforms like Facebook.
- Active Engagement:
The Steelers actively engage with their Mexican fanbase through watch parties, fan camps, and Spanish-language content.
- Expanding International Home Marketing Area (IHMA):
The Steelers are one of the nine NFL teams with expanded rights in Mexico as part of the NFL's IHMA program, which allows them to focus on more events, social engagement, and potentially a regular-season game in Mexico, according to Pittsburgh Steelers president.
- Steelers World:
The team recognizes and embraces the passion and dedication of their fans in Mexico, viewing them as part of "Steelers World" rather than just "Steelers Nation," according to Behind the Steel Curtain.
- Fan Experiences:
Assuming that one was a straight up football game to be won or lost by the better team, I put that one squarely on HCMT.In the Super Bowl against Green Bay The Steelers AND Big Ben were down 6 with 2:12 left 4 minutes after the Mendenhall fumble...Ben didn't get it done, didn't even get a first down...Ben's was the QB. he had a chance to win & did not...That is not on Tomlin...Ben could have 3 rings with one more drive...
With 3 rings BB would be looked at so differently...That is on Ben not Coach Tomlin...
dMy son just sent me this. Hahaha
