Pittsburgh Steelers 2021 first round draft pick, rookie running back Najee Harris came from humble beginnings in the Bay Area of California. Him and his family being evicted multiple times when he was younger and being homeless for long periods of time has molded Harris into the charitable and giving man he is today.
This week, Harris and California Governor, Gavin Newsom, teamed up with Homekey which is a grant program for agencies to acquire hotels, motels, apartments, and other buildings to provide homes for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Harris continues to prove how great he can be not just on the field, but off of it as well. For more information on Homekey and ways to help out, visit here: https://www.hcd.ca.gov/grants-funding/active-funding/homekey.shtml
