Cinci was getting 5 yards a carry in the 1st half until they mostly abandoned the run. We knew NE was going to run the ball at the end of this one and they ran it down our throats. This is just one issue with this team (Canaduh, O-line and Trubisky but mostly Canaduh) but we were totally exposed on D again. Expect heavy doses of the run by teams until we can prove we can stop it. 2 games in and we haven't yet.

I have a feeling Chubb will steal our lunch money

Didn't someone once say that to be successful you have to run the ball and stop your opponent from running the ball?

If Cleveland doesn't run 40 times in this game, they have worse coaching than we do. They could easily have 2 RB's with well over 100 against us. This will be a huge test for our run D which has not done well in the first 2 games.

In the first two games? don't you mean in the last few years (maybe longer)?

They rotate the DL too much. On the first drive when New England was driving they had Heyward on the bench. The first drive.
I think that first game with cincy had em gassed , Not sure they recovered..? This short week, big running game. Im not sure i expect great things . I havent seen loudermilk very much. Am i wrong?

Oddly enough we sucked against the run last year, but we held their leading rushers to 60yds and less in both games.

Stefanski put the final game against the Steelers in Mayfields arm, why I don't know but they went away from the run pretty early, which of course led to Mayfield underperforming and finally getting his *** kicked out of the team. It was like a final test, beat the Steelers carrying the load to prove your worth, he failed.

Cleveland should follow the Pats game plan from last year where jones attempted 2 passes. Mayfield was hurt last year and them having him try to win the game was just plain stupid

I haven't looked closely but I think NE ran those stretch plays because the Steelers had their way to light in the pants edge player in to stop pass.

Pretty clear what the blueprint is for beating our defense...run the ball. They don't penetrate and they don't tackle well.

Frankly, this is just a really bad Steelers team.
