We are exploring a trade?

If it is a player we wouldn't expect my guess is Trubisky, Larry Ogunjobi or Devin Bush.

I would let it be known that DJ & CC are both available for trade. One can’t catch, the other doesn’t want to.

I think the SN faithful may be misinterpreting. It is more likely the Steelers are going to trade FOR a player and give up picks than trade a player away. Look at 2019.
I would like a DE or LT or a G. Fortify the trenches and good things will come.

I bet you're correct. My fear is that it will be a skill player, not a O Line, D Line, Or ILB - our biggest needs

My gosh I'm glad I don't have Twitter, so many terrible takes underneath Andrew's posts about Pickett

This was my fear too… That Tomlin and Rooney are pushing for another non contender playoff run because the conference is flawed as hell.
We will trade for some non long term piece like the pre 70’s Steelers frequently did and cost tge team in draft position and assets

There aren't many players on our roster that we can trade and get something decent in return so I really don't see anything happening. The only guys we can get a decent return for are Watt, Minkah, Heyward, DJ, Pickett, and.....maybe I missed someone but everyone else and you're just getting a mid to late-rounder for them. I don't see us trading any of these guys other than maybe DJ. He could be a surprise move but we would have to get a 1st for him and some cap hit relief.

Can't have to many weapons.............................. as is said in the light of day because we don't practice at night.

Now, if we could give up a 2nd and get a sure-fire, young starter at an area of need, I would be open to that. Our drafts haven't been the greatest so another Minkah-style trade is OK in my book. I'd still like to hold onto that 1st round pick but, hey, if we can get a very good OL or DL starter or CB for the right price but they have to be ready to step in and play. It can't be a project of any type. Our draft capital is too important so it's an immediate starter or hold onto those picks for dear life.

A team truly can get a bad focus of getting super stars with no big uglies to make it all work.
