What was wrong with how they used Golden last season? If anything, they should be using him less unless there are injuries at outside linebacker. Herbig needs to play more.

That is why I wrote that I like signing Golden. They definitely needed a second backup outside linebacker and he's a great fit. I just want Herbig to be the one getting the bulk of the snaps behind Watt and Highsmith, not Golden.

At least last year i think Golden was better in run defense. Hopefully Herbig got better at that aspect.

He said he was thinking about retirement in the offseason. They aren’t wrong once you start thinking about it, maybe it is time to quit.
