Hell yeah! And with no help over the top. If they really want to fool them, have Cam Heyward drop and cover the no.2 receiver.


And definitely just ignore the te and the middle of the field entirely.

I'm also thinking the corners should play 15 yards off the ball this year. You can never be too safe.

So you’re saying he has a history of beating the Steelers, our #1 prerequisite for any coach on the current staff…sounds like we found the right guy to help implement the wrong schemes

I believe in quality assistants. And he was part of regine change not fired. Probably won't be notable either way. They sounded like Curry was amazing and then he was gone.

The good news is the Tomlin think tank has moved away from US currency and has been hard at work in the lab cooking up the “peso”

1 DT, 2 LBs, 5CBs and 3 safeties

The best big play stopper ever allowing 2 safeties to play split field 20 yards from the LOS with Minkah another 20-25 yards behind them looking like he’s a damn punt returner.

Just try to throw over the “peso”

I think this is and has been the issue all along. This is how I interpret Mike Tomlin's view of the defense. We play it in front of us. Try to tackle well in space. We don't let chunks and housecalls. We are stout inside the 20 and force field goals. 3 points closer to losing. Over the course of the drive we get a sack or they get a penalty we can force punt. Every tackle is an opportunity for a forced fumble. We can occasionally game a tendency and create opportunities for interception. But above all limit splash plays.
Now Queen and Wilson can cover slots. That's how you get sacks with 4 man pressures
However with one safety barely in the stadium it's a long ways for an ILB to cover in space. Big ask. They play a ton of cover 1. Man with safety help. It's safe but can be death by a thousand cuts. And the defense rarely dictates.

Just remember as popular as Coach Tomlin will make the Peso, it still won’t be worth much. Tomlin encouraged cutting your eye-lids off awhile ago. He did this in anticipation of the release of the “peso” defense, so no one could see its effectiveness as by now,…… most would be blind or have some kind of eye infection………….
