If we win out, and that is a BIG IF, we would have the best divisional record at 4-2. It would also mean that we'd finish at least 1/2 game above the Bengals with a 2 game sweep making up the current 1 1/2 game lead on us.

There is a possibility that the Browns could finish 4-2 in the division, and I'm not sure of those tie breaks, but currently we are ahead of them while tied with them, so I assume we have it. Also it's tough for them having a QB controversy going into the last month of the season.

Crazier things have happened. If we can improve this month and not lose players on Defense, then we have a chance, and as small as it is, we still control it.

I was really looking forward to the Saints game I thought that the team would show up and assert themselves.

Unfortunately, they did. These are your 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers.

They are, who we hoped they weren't.

We are poised to make a Super Bowl run. All we need now is to replace our entire defensive unit, and we should be set.

Well I'm all for "letting it play out". If we make it, GREAT, but a little doubtful at this point.

Salute the nation

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to hamster again
.....My thoughts exactly. We have some weapons on offense and a couple rising stars but I can't name one guy on defense that we absolutely can't do without.

No we don't. This team will be LUCKY to string together two more wins out of what they have left. Even if they run the table and get into the playoffs they theyed get crushed in the first round.

I blame Ark for this.

Actually, the Steelers control who wins the Super Bowl. All they have to do is win 8 games in a row!

Optimism is one thing, but people are bordering on insanity now. Embrace the suckiness and hope there are improvements next year.

They will lose both games to Cinci and one other, to finish 8-8 yet again, no playoffs. No real improvement. It is what it is.

They actually have to win 3 more games to make a .500 season!

THAT could be a challenge!

Is there anybody good enough left on the schedule to get the Steelers up for a game?

How did you figure that one out? Is that some of that new common core math? Last time I checked we have won SEVEN games, EIGHT wins is what is required for a .500 season. I still like our chances.

The last 4 games will definitely show who this team is. They really must win all four to have a realistic shot at the playoffs. The division is too tight and we are a game and a half back. Plus, there are a ton of teams tied with us or better than us for the wild card slots. Heck, the Rats have the easiest schedule over the final 4 games in the division. They could easily win all four.

We will be lucky to win two more games.

You're right. I had us backwards. Much like the team itself...

No kidding. They did some "controlling" just yesterday.

The Steelers will beat Atlanta and maybe Cinn at home and finish 8-8 or 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

I think KC will embarrass the Steelers and rush for upwards of 150 yards.

Cincy could say the same thing.

But seriously...when was the last time any of us thought...going into a game..."this will be an easy win".
