Here we are, coming off of a bad loss and yet, 1st place in the AFC North.
Buffalo is a very beatable team as we’ve seen their sub play of late. Both OTs are out, I believe a MLB is out also (may be a DB). We need to run the ****-ing football until they stop it, then run it some more in play action etc. We have the personnel to handle these guys. Tomlin has to play with their foot on the gas and take risk along the way. NO playing not to lose as that will be his demise.
—— One more thing, I think it is creeping closer and closer to Tomlin being replaced, a blow out here could speed that up dramatically.

HOT. TOPIC: The replacement of the HC could happen sooner than one thinks. There has been talk of a trade, talk of mutual parting, talk of retirement or out right terminated. A trade would by far be the best for the STEELERS, but a mutual parting would be saving face and yet getting the job done.
—— I give three scenarios that would be my proposal to the owner 1) Tomlin search and find a trade partner 2) Tomlin retire 3) out right terminate. That would give Tomlin his choice on how to leave. We don’t know what POST Steelers looks like in Tomlin’s thought process. He might just want to be done and no booth or trade. It’s the guaranteed contract that is the sticker and the Rooney usually doesn’t want to pay for no work termination. That fact is what makes the 3 yr extension such a bad contract.
—— The rumblings have started in a deeper way than anything in the past. there were opposing team’s chants at Acruisure Stadium and rooney definitely heard them. There has been nation media making claims of negative, something that hasn’t happened in the past. There is also the ex-players openly speaking up and not holding back, Rooney definitely hear’s these guys
——- The season needs to play out, but if there is a major tank job (lose out or win 1) things could speed up dramatically. This is the most likely path to the replacement of the Non-losing Season Record Holder Coach Mike Tomlin. I don’t worry about who his replacement will be as there are many more knowledgeable in that aspect than myself. I just know that to change the direction of this situation, a major cleansing from top to bottom is needed. I think the sooner the better as we will go nowhere with the system Tomlin is currently endorsing.
