Not as many big games as last week but still a few

Oklahoma at Ohio State
Auburn at Clemson
Georgia at Notre Dame
Stanford at USC
and of course

Pitt at Penn State

we are
penn state

And a big FU to WTAE for missing the start of the game so nobody would miss Michigan run out the clock in their blowout win over Cincinnati.

This is going to be a blow-out, I think.

I thought that would happen, but they had a program alert. stated that ESPNEWS would show the start of the game. so I changed the channel.

Pitt needs to permanently go back to the throw back unis they are wearing today.

Pitt has a player named Ffrench. WTFF is with that spelling?

Barkley is a freaking beast.

That is all.

Pitt gameplanned to bleed clock and not get blown out, not to win.

That is all.

He reminds me of a guy that played HS football with me. He was 5'7" 165 but could power clean like 250. He could also bear crawl the 40 faster than some of the lineman could run it. Just a freak. Barkley power cleans 405. Extremely strong legs combined with quickness.

Quick out of the hole, hits hard and square, great hands as a receiver, excellent vision. He'll make a good NFL back.

Dont know if this was mentioned last week but Clemson new starting QB replacing Deseaun Watson is Kelly Bryant cousin of Martavis

This OSU vs. OU game is a classic example of what happens when you have one team with a QB capable of reading defenses and passing downfield vs. a team whose QB can not and has to rely on run/pass option rollout plays for 4 quarters. .

JT Barrett is a terrible QB. They may as well just have a RB take the snap and do wildcat every play. And Barrett is getting worse. He has completely lost his nerve.

OSU's playbook is based on YAC. Like the Pats. It works because the QB hits the receiver in open space and then does something with the ball. That's why it is important to anticipate and get the ball out quickly.

Barrett is staring down the WR so even when he makes a completion, the DB is there to wrap up the tackle for almost no YAC.

It's not a coincidence that OSU won the National Championship when injuries forced them to play Cardale Jones, a passer.

That is the 3rd OSU loss in their last 9 games. Even still, they were given a slot in the final 4 last year over a team that defeated them head-to head and won the conference title. If OSU has a top ten ranking after this disaster then something is wrong with College Football and their rankings.

Penn St. would have gotten that spot if they had even been slightly competitive against Michigan. Having a blowout loss on their record doomed them. They really need to beat Michigan this year.

Penn State may actually drop a spot in the rankings from 4 to 5. Oklahoma will likely jump ahead of them, from 5 to 3, maybe all the way up to #2 if they go ahead of Clemson. Clemson beat 13 Auburn but it was a low scoring struggle. I think Oklahoma goes to 2.

USC 6 blew out 14 Stanford. I'm guessing they go ahead of PSU as well, probably up to #3.

That just leaves Clemson. It wasn't impressive, but they did beat a ranked team while PSU beat an unranked team. I think Clemson stays ahead of PSU, so PSU drops a spot after a win vs Pitt.

My guess
1 Alabama
2 Oklahoma
3 USC
4 Clemson
5 Penn State

I'm thinking Ohio State lands at 10. This was a bad home loss coupled with them struggling last week vs Indiana so i think they fall to 10 and stay just in from of Florida State who lost their QB for the season.

Notre Dame sucks bag again. Even if they would have won they were irrelevant. They only threw a pass downfield once in every 8 or 9 attempts.
