Some non steelers rooting interests for next week

NYG over Baltimore Rooting against the Ratbirds is always priority #1
NE over Cinci- Yes NE is tied with us for HFA, but sinking the cesspool that is Cinci into oblivion is so much more important, however rooting against the *s is always acceptable
Cleveland over tennessee- Wait, we root for Cleveland?... yes we dont need cleveland getting the top overall pick and another loss to tennesee puts the Titans in a deep hole to climb out of, also it boosts our strength of schedule if we sweep cleveland this season

non division games that might end up meaning stuff later:
KC over Oakland... Oakland is having a heck of a start to the season and we already have beaten KC
Indy over Houston... Houston has a 3-2 record, putting them behind us is important, but also we play the Colts later this season, so we will want them to have a decent win total to boost our SOS
San Francisco over Buffalo... Buffalo is quietly 3-2 and has a +30 point differential... nip this in the bud early with a loss, even if its an NFC loss

Nice post!

AFC South is a tire fire. One of those teams will win the division by default, as they did last year, and do nothing in the playoffs.

We are ready to play in Miami who we should beat. No let down, more important than the rest of division, though seeing them lose is always nice.

Pittsburgh at Miami.

End of list.

Handle the only thing you can control. Live with the results. No need to look ahead or to the side. Those weeks will get here soon enough.

Glad I have zero impact on the games and will take a rooting interest in all of the games above.

While I see the value in the Bengals losing, the Pats play in a cupcake division and have their QB back. If they lose this week and we knock them off the next week, that would be HUGE.

This week is very nearly a must win for Steelers... The dolphins arent good... The next 3 games (NE, @Bal, DAL) looks to be the toughest stretch of the schedule, and its followed up by 4 of 5 on the road...

"we don't need cleveland getting the top overall pick"

umm top overall, top 5, it's almost clockwork with cleveland. What have to show for all the top picks they have? Just take a look at this past draft, they gave up a chance to take a franchise QB and instead traded it away and signed RG3. What has this franchise done that makes you think they could get the top overall pick correct?

If they want the top seed in the AFC, they'll probably have to go at least 13-3. Basically makes every game a "must win."

Get lucky just once.. They are due

Broncos just got asswhacked by Philip in SD

They look like an 8-8 team this year, as a lot of AFC teams do.

Technically, no. They've lost to an AFC opponent, Pittsburgh lost to an NFC opponent, which puts the Stillers in the driver's seat.

Nice catch wig as you beat me to it. When the cheatriot team has to play away from home their chances become WAY more slim. If Ernie or the hoodie ever get injured or suspended then that team becomes CRAP !!!

Salute the nation
