Well it looks like Linderbaum will be there at 1.1X

But if he didn't look like a top 25 pick...

If you are buying he didn't look like one. Not sure I am buying stock in that. Perhaps he will grace us with what he didn't like on what plays.

Said he got hurt in the fourth. If that wasn't a big injury his stock did not drop. No scout looks at hours and hours of game film and goes but yeah his last game in the Citrus Bowl.

True, ........... but they do look at his last gae along with those hour & hours of tape. Just sayiN

Salute the nation

I believe he went back in? I don't think the injury is serious...

Size is a bit of a concern at 290lbs. I like the skill though. Would need to come in and pack on some lbs and muscle.

290 is light DT are getting bigger and faster , i Rather trade down for a RT or stay and take Jordan Davis and realign the base D to a 4-3
Assuming tuitt is back for his last year on his deal
DE Tuitt
Davis
DT Heyward
DE Highsmith
OLB Watt
MLB Bush
OLB Schobert (paycut)

rnd 2 Aim or Kinnard 6"5 345 Massive power would provide the type of impact that Gilbert a fixture on the right side able to right away help the run game, draft him cut Banner or move him to RG

Scott Dochterman
@ScottDochterman Two NFL scouts watching Citrus Bowl between Iowa-Kentucky: Steelers have sent 4 scouts to 4 Iowa games.- Let the Linderbaum pimping begin!

Hopefully, they realize their massive mistake on passing on Creed Humphrey.
Is Tomlin going to be willing to admit a mistake in thinking Green could be a good center? I wouldn't count on it.

I don't think Green will ever be a starter at guard or center. Can't believe we used a 3rd round pick on him.

Couldn't agree more. No offense to Green, but it was a ****** pick to replace Pouncey with. Same with picking Terrell Edmunds two rounds too early as a 1st round pick. Could of had Nick Chubb or Darius Leonard.

I'm sticking with cornerback to replace Haden as the Steelers choice. It's just what my gut tells me will happen.

That would be a bad decision. They have no business trying to draft a plug and play CB. All that would D is handicap the position while trying to lower tier draft a OL or DLineman. They wouldn't have the luxury of a solid Dline to protect them. No they need a proven cover while the Dline attempts to stabilize. Besides they brought in Nelson and Haden for a reason, they suck at identifying CB talent.

I think you all are rushing to judgement on Green… he has great wheels for a big guy and a frame… he can pack on weight… now the key is can we get an oline coach that teaches proper leverage technique and whether he can snap the ball and get into position better… i think at worse he becomes a good pulling guard…

He is a good risk reward player at the 3rd round.

I mean we still should be looking at a true stud on the oline, but i think long term the guys we grabbed this year may be developed fine… they look better at home with no crowd noise… typical rookie problems…

He’s not a waste but he shouldn’t have been drafted in the 3rd

I'll say it in every thread, I hope I'm wrong about Green. I just haven't seen anything that says NFL center. He can move, but he can't block.

I don't have to teach Linderbaum how to block, angles, or how to play C. A real easy choice for me if he is still on the board. I don't go into next season hoping Green will turn around the worst performance on the Oline. He has shown no progression at the position. That would be a huge risk. An unnecessary risk.

Thank you for allowing the kid a chance. Heck, I don't know if he'll be anything, but to his credit he has hung tough all year long, like Moore. That's gotta be something to build on. I could understand the contempt if he was a 3-4 year player, but he is a rook, and a young one at that, I believe. Both of them.

We Steeler fans ought to understand not to jump to conclusions one way or the other. You've got Terry Bradshaw and Troy and to a lesser extent Bud Dupree as examples of guys who turned it around. Then you have q guy like Kendrell Bell, who we all thought would be the next great LB, peter out.

Yeah I still have hope for Green at guard. He has a bit of mongrel to him. He is only a rookie. Moore played well last night, he might not be the answer at LT long term but for where he was drafted he was a great pick. Loudermilk has also shown glimpses, can provide quality depth.

I think people need to let the Creed Humphrey non pick go. It’s not like Friermuth isn’t gonna provide years of value here.

No, you put Schobert in the middle and Highsmith at OLB, and plug in another Big ugly at DT and slide Heyward out.

If Green doesn't improve at C he can probably serve as a depth player. Might be interesting to see what he could do as a blocking TE.

Maybe Green looks awesome in practuce because he gets to block Bush and Bush seeks out and sticks to blocks like a magnet.
