They all sucked in their games and they all lost. The two billion dollar men in Cleveland and Baltimore although they won didn’t exactly light it up.
I think Kenny will rebound nicely and be fine this year as well as the stars in KC, Cincy and Buffalo.

That week one. Just often brutal. That was a pretty bad performance from Kenny so hopefully he does rebound. I am like you in the boat that he will.

Monday night will paint a little better of a picture.

I would be slightly more optimistic with Mahommes, Burrow and Allen. They actually have talent to fall back on. Kenny pick-it has bad tape for the overwhelming majority of last season as well, couldn't score touchdowns, and was propped up by the defense.

The difference is that the other three have proven themselves and KP hasn't. My hopes for him were HUGE this year. Pro Bowl, top 10, etc. But the Pickett stock is way down for me right now. If I want to close my eyes and operate in denial, I could say he's gonna be the man. But as of right now, I'm not buying it. Kills me to say it too.

What I like about Kenny is that he doesn't seem to get rattled easily. Maybe this game will make him that much more determined. Of course a win will require good game planning and adjustments from the coaching staff, so we'll see.

If a win "...will require good game planning and adjustments from the coaching staff..." then we are already doomed. The Browns second string QB will finish the game and not because we knocked the first guy out.

the list of ****** QB performances is a lot longer than that

Yep, there are plenty of them in this clubhouse. Everyone needs to settle down, things will be ok Coolie. Kenny had a horrible game as did the entire team except TJ so I'm not worried about Kenny.

Why are you not worried about Kenny? I see you have him as your avatar, so you may be a bit of a fan, but what has he done that has shown you he is a franchise QB?

And to answer the OP, the differences between Kenny and those QB's are the following:
  • They all have already proven that they are elite or franchise QB's
  • Kenny wasn't playing through a rain storm (Burrow)
  • Kenny also wasn't rusty (Mahomes and Burrow basically skipped preseason)

Kenny’s my little brother that’s why. Just ducking with ya big Apple.
Seriously! I never, ever said franchise or elite. I don’t know yet what his ceiling will be nor do you. I hope it’s elite/franchise and so should you.
Kenny only started his 13th ducking game where the others, Patrick, Cool Joe, and Josh have much more experience in the league.
Kenny had a horrible game, it happens. Let’s wait and see how he responds and plays this season before passing judgement.
No excuses for the superstars. Being rusty, bad weather, whatever, that’s all bs. They’re professionals being paid very well and they have lots of game experience. No excuses!

No lies told.

Just realizing how spoiled we were to have Big Ben for the last decade+. This is what it must feel like being a Jets/Browns fan.

Relax man, seriously! I really believe it’s not nearly as bad as it looked. The Niners are a really good team in all three phases of the game. So well coached and Shanahan had his team very well prepared.
Tomlin did not have the boys prepared and to take the opening kickoff on offense tells me he bought too much into the pre season hype. He never takes the ball to open the game.
Shanahan’s defense got into Kenny’s head and threw him off his game. He’s generally very accurate but Sunday he was all over the place. I also think that first sack of Kenny where he was slammed to the turf set the time for that game.
Let’s see how Kenny and the team respond against a better Brown’s team than I expected.

The difference is, the others have a legitimate OC, something KP doesn’t.

Let's not forget " The crowd noise component" Mike brought up in his PC while not seeking comfort or making excuses.
I was there. It was a non-factor.

All those QBs stunk, but they've also proven themselves to play at an elite level. Pickett has to be significantly better and prove he can carry this team in games now that the best team in the NFL is no longer on their future schedule.
