They can't get the vote right in more and more counties and states across the country. What a clusterfuck. They have no interest in protecting any of the borders. In fact, they publicly advocate that people break the law to get here. They spend more money than they take in. They waste human lives and endless capital in senseless wars all over the world. They think up new ways to tax things that are already taxed so they can waste even more money. They argue and point fingers at each other on TV. Roads and bridges are crumbling in spite of soaring gas taxes that were originally intentioned to fix roads and bridges. Social security will be insolvent soon. They are continuously looking to take away your rights. See A1, A2. For starters. And the list goes on.

What do they actually do that honestly and truly benefits the American people? Hard to find anything of any real substance. Clue me in.

As a truck driver, I promise you that the roads are being worked on constantly.

They also fund the military. At least some do. But, I would prefer that the government gets much smaller and do less.

Well, they subsidize people struggling to make it on their own. You know, the people on their iPhones while waiting in line at the charity Winter Coat Giveaway, the ones using food stamps at the grocery store and then get into Escalades with tricked out rims, the parents who can't buy their child school supplies (so the teacher does it for the child) but they can buy them $100 sneakers and their own cell phone at 8 years old.

So stop complaining.

And don't forget we give them money to feed their kids but it still doesn't get done so we have to pay for them to be fed in school, even when school is out for summer. Must be part of the trickle down effect.

It doesn't do **** and it's about 75% too big. Its filled with a bunch of ****** up self serving asshats who see themselves as rulers with superior intellect.

I'm just waiting for the cookie to crumble. It shouldn't be too much longer in reality. They're doing everything internally to accelerate the demise of the greatest country ever. They've pretty much covered all the bases

Just enjoy the show

Do Democrats want Nancy Pelosi as speaker again? Poll finds more prefer 'someone else.'

As Rep. Pelosi (D-Calif.) spends the week back on Capitol Hill trying to persuade her colleagues to give her another run at House speaker, fewer than one-quarter of self-identified Democrats — 23 percent — say their party’s lawmakers should pick her, while a larger 36 percent say they should choose “someone else” and a 41 percent plurality have no opinion, according to a new poll released Wednesday by Monmouth University.

Support for the current House minority leader becoming speaker dips further to 17 percent among the public overall, factoring in Republicans and independents.

Just under 3 in 10 Democrats approve of Pelosi’s job performance as the party’s minority leader in the House

A Jazzy could outrun that thing.

Yeah, that thing looks like a giant waste of money and energy, not to mention a danger to others around it.

DEM WAR!

'Never Nancy': Democrats ramp up efforts to sideline Pelosi

A band of House Democrats determined to oppose House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's speaker bid are planning to release a signed letter as soon as this week indicating that they have gathered enough support to deny her the 218 votes needed to win the gavel on the House floor in January, a move they say would complicate her path to a second term as speaker and force renewed discussion about her stepping aside.

ABC News has identified at least 14 sitting Democrats and incoming members who have vowed to oppose Pelosi on the House floor

McConnell rejects Mueller protection bill

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell flatly rejected the need to approve legislation protecting the special counsel’s probe into the 2016 election, saying Wednesday there’s no evidence the investigation needs protection.

Mr. McConnell laid out Republicans’ goals for the lame-duck session of Congress, saying preventing a government shutdown is tops on the list, along with passing new rules to stop sexual harassment on Capitol Hill and approving a farm bill.

He flatly ruled out the chance of a partial government shutdown over border wall money and other spending fights.

Jim Quinn pointed out this morning that the vote is only screwed up in states and counties where it's close and could go either way so the Dems tilt the playing field. In the hard red and hard blue states there's never an issue.

Dems want a " woman of color" as speaker. It's not clear if that would be an upgrade over Pelosi.

government is only good at 2 things, collecting taxes and killing people.

Actually it's spending more tax money than they collect and always looking for more. If the socialists get full control that taxation&regulation will skyrocket. I could see them taking us to a place of debt that will be our undoing. At some point the producers will say **** the takers.

They don't have much choice. They really can't put a White person there and they sure as **** can't put a White male in there, lest they be guilty of their own accusations of racism on every street corner and under every rock.

Cmon sarge, you know the government creates jobs and produces money out of thin air.

We have a government of, by and for the people, so if the government is screwed up, "the people" are at fault.

I believe career politicians are a big part of the problem. If you got ideas to make the government run better, run for office, come to DC and express your ideas
and try to implement them, then go home and get on with the rest of your life. Too many politicians hang around Washington because they like the power and
the gig, but don't have any intelligent thoughts on how to improve government and make it less costly.

Meanwhile, Dems infighting ramps up

Democratic Rep. Fudge says she's 'overwhelmed' by support as she weighs speaker bid

Rep. Marcia L. Fudge said on Thursday that she is “overwhelmed” by the support from many of her colleagues for her possible entry into the race for House speaker, becoming the first Democrat to publicly acknowledge a challenge to longtime party leader Nancy Pelosi.

Fudge, 66, a former chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, said that she is building a diverse coalition as she mulls a speaker run, talking with allies on the CBC, moderate Democrats, and newly elected members.
