It's a dog whistle code saying that we need to put down or differences and unite or we will lose. The Democratic party can be a fickle bunch.

It's not easy to pander to multiple minority groups, some of which want to hear you speak their talking points, which often go against popular opinion.

Too bad 20% of Sanders base will be staying home of voting for someone besides Hillary.

I actually agree with your sentiment. I am sure we would disagree on the fixes though.

It means stop being an individual and surrender to the group. You can't possibly achieve anything on your own so don't even try.

Most liberals are losers. Much of the rank and file are low income people who haven't learned that it is government policies, not white privilege or whatever other boogeyman is the current trend. These people are havjng their lives stolen by the elites.

The liberal elites always tend to be low on achievement. They have either inherited wealth like John Kerry who never met a rich widow he wouldn't marry, or they have somehow gitten wealthy while working in government.

they are also narcissists. If they can't do it, then it can't be done. Not without cheating. They tend to stay in academia for as long as they can, because results are never expected there.

Deep down, they know they are frauds. How could stooges like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi ever succeed in the real world based on their own talents? . Ah but they can talk a good game and convince people to give them power.

Socialism and communism are scams. Liberal elites are the con men running it. Convincing their trusting followers that they will someday find that pea under one of the 3 cups so long as they keep playing. And the only reason they haven't found that pea yet is because somebody else stole it from them.

The only way to command such blind loyalty is to convince people that they have no hope, no chance at all to make it on their own. Abandon their own individual beliefs and throw in with the collective if you want to survive.
