It's almost as though they're trying to build a roster for when they find a QB worth the investment. Like, who do you think would've been the answer at QB since Khan has taken over?I think Kahn has improved the roster over his first 2 years as it had a lot of holes when he took over.
However, the Steelers as an organization seem focused on improving the roster everywhere except the most important position on the team, as if they can win without the QB position. They cannot. I don't really understand what this team is doing.
The other area of fair criticism is player development (which isn't Kahn's primary responsibility). This organization rarely develops its high draft picks into anything meaningfully improved in 2-3 years - at least recently. In the salary cap era, you just can't succeed without your high draft picks developing into multi-year major pieces of your team. We're not getting that type of development. Too many misses early in the draft.
Who was worth development? Or who was capable of developing someone? It isn't Clown-lin, that's been proven in spades. He's hopeless as a developer of QBs, even with his DAILY morning meetings. Total waste of time. It's almost as though they're trying to build a roster for when they find a QB worth the investment.
