Rodgers is the betting favorite, but I am taking the mundane Ireland game cause it feels like something they would call a presser for just to announce the opponent or logo or something
It's going to be Ireland. The international schedule comes out Tuesday AM. They will be giving specific info about the game.

1. Ireland game - obvious choice to announce this type of game ahead of the schedule release. As a season ticket holder, this isn't exciting because I'll probably miss seeing a cool opponent such as Buffalo (Allen), Minnesota (Jefferson), or Green Bay. Send them over there against some boring team like Indianapolis. As a fan of the team, I don't like that they're traveling and will likely play in an incredibly sloppy game like many of these European games are. We watch enough of that weekly, I don't need it to be worse.

2. Special helmets - so apparently they are doing an alternate helmet. Whatever, alternate uniforms are dumb when you have the best in pro sports (unless they're wearing block numbers). It'll probably be the gold helmets and batman uniforms people have been asking for to distract the younger fans away from another mediocre season.

3. Nothing - It's more likely the report is wrong than a Rodgers signing. The national media breaks those stories or Rodgers would go on McAfee to do that.

This is a good call.

Kind of like the Segue announcement for those that are old enough to remember it.

"We're going to announce the most important technology mankind has ever made."

Later: "Yep, it's a ******* scooter!"

Please not Rogers.

I’m right here with yaz, but I think the roger is inevitable. I think the deal has been done for quite some time now.

The Steelers are beyond excited to announce that we will be playing the Minnesota Vikings in Ireland week 4.

Oh ya, almost forgot, we also signed Aaron Rodgers and traded for Tyreek Hill.

BUT IRELAND!!!!! Woo!!

I think it’s to announce the game against the Vikings in Ireland.
I for one think these international games are silly and cheat the hometown fans out of a home game.
Those people are devout soccer fans and will never replace that beloved game with American football.
Yeah, a game here or there is a novelty for them but to support a team for an entire season. I don’t think so!

Get the Guinness iced down! Sorry Drink IRON City, I couldn’t resist😜

Love it.!!!

In my earlier days, I use to home brew beer. I made many kinds and styles.

One of them was a beer called Cherry Fever Stout, think sort of a heavier Guinness with cherry flavor & high hops and above a 6% ABV.

That particular beer took 1st place over-all in 3 different Home brewing contests.

I also made a Blitz City Beer in honor of our Bill Cowher lead STEELERS. I gave it a number the the number of batches made. The final one I believe was Blitz City 37.

IRON City Beer is about as Pittsburgh as you can get. It wasn’t that long ago that the Brewery nearly went bankrupt. I think the number for the overdue water bill was near $400,000.00, but the city came to the rescue and worked out a plan for both sides. It wasn’t just the water bill but I do remember that being a part of the equasion.

The Vikings play the Steelers in Ireland week 4, then play the Browns in London the following week. Isn't that usually a Jacksonville thing? Wonder what the Vikes are hiding from.

I have yet to meet a single person who cares one way or another about these "international games." No wait, that's not entirely true: I met some Jag fans who were enthusiastic about attending a Jag game in the UK. Go figure. and it was not one of those rare seasons when the Jags were winning either, but they were still excited about attending, go figure. They want on and on about attending the Jags UK games, as if they were reason for some excitement. The whole UK game component is such a waste of time and energy for everyone involved. What a waste. The Rooneys' excursion to Ireland is no better, just a waste. The Rooneys act like it's something that should excite us but no one cares.
