Halloween? What is he planning be? He was put on IR with limited information.

He supposedly has a knee injury…but many suspect its really related to his brother being murdered by a hit and run driver… it wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t play this season…that’s traumatic

Don't forget the part about him being way out of shape as well. Today I would think it's the knee and football shape holding him back. He has had access to individual counseling so he should be mentally strong enough to compete but it's the physical part that I think is holding him back.

Salute the nation

Something tells me the Steelers aren't giving the full story. I'll go as far to suggest if he does come back, he' s not going to be as good as he was.

Knee injury of some sort and apparently surgery a week or two before the season started. But, even yesterday I read that most think he is still grieving his brother and that the Steelers will give him as much time as he needs.

This.

Because of the lack of info coming from Tuitt and the Steelers....
Have to believe that his situation is comparable to what Simone Biles was going through at the Olympics?...
I think he probably got depressed and did what I do… ate his way out of it and laid in bed. Easy to do when the pilliars in your life collapse

All the Steelers are required to do is designate the injury for which they are placing him IR. They are not required to go into the specifics of the degree of injury, etc. Just the injury itself. Moreover, if he is depressed to the point of not being able to play, it's a class move on the Steelers part to not put the man's laundry on a line for everyone to gawk at. It's also a class move for them to set it up so that he continues to get paid while working through his depression. A lot of teams have required their players dealing with depression to continue to suit up. To the detriment of the player and the team.

I'm sure I'm not the first to say - we've missed this monkey-flinging chyt!!! LMAO!!!
I'm sure I'm not the first to think the timing of his return is suspect!!
