They will still suck. But they play in Vegas. Great atmosphere. Nuff said

Meh. Wont amount to much

I'm much rather have Jim Harbaugh as head coach, than Josh McDaniels

Chicago - MATT EBERFLUS
-This was a weird hire and seems like it came out of left field. It doesn't feel like he was hired because of scheme, but rather overall ability to build a strong locker room. The foundation of the future is based on Justin Fields' success, so he has to put his young QB in position to succeed.

Denver - NATHANIEL HACKETT
-Denver went with the typical modern hire. Young offensive mind off a popular coaching tree. Energetic and a good personality, definitely has a 2020 head coach feel. Denver is in position to win right now, but needs a QB.

Las Vegas - JOSH MCDANIELS
-McDaniels feels like he should be good and with the offensive talent the Raiders have, they should be in position to succeed right away. I don't know if he is that all-around leader you need from a top head coach. Maybe he learned after his first stint.

New York Giants - BRIAN DABOLL
-This one felt inevitable and one the Giants need to hit a home run on. Time is running out on Daniel Jones and they are banking on Daboll bringing him along just as he did for Josh Allen.

Jacksonville - OPEN
-Leftwich felt like a shoe in for this position, but I understand him not wanting to work with Baalke. They've interviewed a ton of candidates and like Chicago, could be in a great position if their QB develops into a franchise guy.

Houston - OPEN
-The Texans are a mess and this job isn't very appealing. They fired their last coach after one year and have brought in candidates like Hines Ward and Josh McCown. Brian Flores feels like a good fit here as long as they are patient and give him time to build it his way. Not sure if they'll go that way.

Miami - OPEN
-Who is going to trust Tua as their guy?

Minnesota - OPEN
-A chronic underachiever, this team should be a perennial playoff team. Harbaugh would be fun in the NFC North if they decide to go that direction.

New Orleans - OPEN
-Never fun to be the guy who follows the legend, especially when you don't have a QB.

Houston could be a good job. Rookie QB Davis Mills quietly had a strong finish to the season. He showed potential. If Mills is the QB and you trade away Watson, you could turn that team around pretty quickly. Also, you could possibly keep Watson. His legal troubles may be over before the season, if he just pays them all off. Watson may choose to stay if he likes the new coach. Then you could get something for Mills in trade.

Jax is all about Trevor Lawrence. If he's the real deal then it's a good job. They may already have enough weapons. Etienne will be like a bonus 1st round pick.

Location wise. I’d take Jacksonville, Miami or Houston.

If watson can get clear of his legal troubles

And if the Texans can get some chump to over pay (mulitple 1st rounders) for Watson in a trade

And Mills potential pans out

Houston might be a good job for the right guy.

Watson value is overstated. His legal problems tarnish his value. I hope they take what they can get and move on.

I can't really see Watson making his legal troubles go away with money. It appears Houston police are investigating 10+ criminal complaints relating to Watson. If all those complainants withdraw complaints/don't co-operate, I would think the Houston police would look into the circumstances of that many complaints being made and all dropped. Also, even if he does pay them off he should still be facing an investigation by the NFL, given the precedents set.

I was really intrigued by the early reports that the Raiders might be interested in someone of Tomlin's "caliber". That would have been a great opportunity to unload him and made a play for a massive upgrade like Josh.

Josh mcdaniels was a failed head coach who got fined for taping the sideline of an opponent… he is trash as a head coach… his best role is as a cheating offensive coordinator

Obviously the Davis family is intrigued by this clowns shadiness.
This will be a disaster.
Past behavior is an indicator of future behavior.

you're an idiot

raiders will continue to suck

Josh isn't an upgrade over anybody

Billicheat is on his way out soon as well. Ernie was the glue and Josh sees what the future holds. The real question is how much "cheating from the tree" will McDanials try to bring with him. He lost job in Denver in cheating controversey. Indianapolis was ahead of the game and said in all honesty.

Josh McDanials will be average.

Do you feel as if Mike Tomlin is a successful head coach? What are your thoughts on him tripping a player? Now that we have confirmation that Tomlin calls defensive plays, how would you rank his performance?

Read the many relevant threads in this forum to learn my well documented opinions on all of that… its been discussed ad nauseum… if they replace Tomlin it wont be with a retread garbage coach like mcdaniels… like all ex pats coaches he needs to cheat to win….

You wont offend any real Steelers fans ripping on Tomlin…

Focusing on his on the field accomplishments, anything there?
we have had way to many discussions on Tomline

this is about wether or not josh would be an upgrade....he wouldn't

you want my opinions on Tomlin go dig them up

I am not rehashing **** for a troll

He has flaws, but he did successfully merge a cover two onto a 3/4 front and reworked 3/4 dline strategies to provide pressure from the line… he isn’t a bad defensive mind, just too reliant on outdated endgame strategies and overly conservative to start big games…

There arent great head coaches in this era of the nfl… Reid is the closest. And he loses games like yesterday because of dumb coaching decisions like him blowing a timeout in the first quarter way too often
