I miss it too. It was a very entertaining thread. If you're lucky, this will go 180 pages too, LOL.

Yeah, but but but but but he's averaging 4.5 per carry!!

.............on 9 carries all season

Theres no LeGarrett Blount back there anymore.......so Dri is what we got when Bell needs a blow

"Red Rover, Red Rover, we want Dri to come over"......dumbest play in the Steelers playbook!

I agree, 2nd & 1, even the forsaken bubble screen would have been a better option

Don't know why, but that made me laugh. Don't go dissing the bubble screen.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Drink IRON City again

Archer has not had much of a chance so far. It's not his fault they are running him up the middle. Let him catch a swing pass or run a toss play. What i would do is fake a toss to him and try to hit someone long

This Archer pick was a major blunder picking him the 3rd round when we had so many other needs. Seriously, why is he on the 53 man roster? He contributes absolutely nothing. I can see this guy being a camp cut in the next two seasons and added to the list of draft failures.

But he's soo fast! We need him to open up the offense. According to Antdrewjosh and tibs, he's the guy who springs Antonio open!

No Dri = No Antonio. And that makes me a saaad panda.

It's the same reason many of us said he shouldn't have been drafted that early. He has no position on the team and you have to take out a pro-bowl player to use him. Which makes no sense. He isn't a starting caliber RB or WR. Speed is overrated in the NFL at times. a 4.2 in shorts isn't a 4.2 in pads on an NFL field.

At this point they would be better off cutting Archer and bringing in 2 more RBs, including Josh Harris. You made a ******* mistake, admit it and move on.

He's coming in to spell the starter. Bell had some big runs up to that point.

Also saw Archer split wide in motion from the backfield (To Ben's left), the entire defense shifted an extra DB to his side and the Safety rotated over. We threw a TE screen to the other side to a wide open Heath Miller.

I don't watch plays develop from a TV screen, I watch plays develop from the stadium.

That play worked beautifully, pass completed to Heath. Why not send him flying and throw it up ala Wallace. If he is that fast, you would think he could get over the top of the D real easy, then just throw the **** out of it. It seemed to work for one trick Wallace.

I'm amazed how much defenses have respected Archer even though he's done nothing in the regular season. He has been used as a decoy a few times this year and others have benefited greatly.

With the way yesterday was going, it would have been another pick by the Saints. Well, a dropped pick.

Are you saying they had 3 guys guarding Archer on that play? One "EXTRA" db and a safety equals 3 players. I remember the play and I don't recall 3 players guarding Archer.

Also thinking that usually, the defense does roll to the side the man in motion is headed............ Just saying. Miller was open a lot, just benny never saw him.

We don't have the Archer thread anymore?

ALSO, there was a bout 6 minutes left in the half. It becomes a 3rd and 1. Why not go for it all, 7step drop and bombs away, missing AND NOW HAVING TO PUNT. What about the theory of getting the first down, keeping brees off the field? Drive on down, use up time and score. There were so many things wrong, not just with the Archer run, but things that followed with overall game planning.

That may not have been the plan, that may have been Ben, who seemed to be trying to force things all game. I am now wondering if he is going to keep this up the rest of the season and get us to another 8 and 8 or 7 and 9. His choices have been bad for a lot of the game.

I hear yaz Mr. Wingman. Ben needs to be reeled in if that is the case. Cowher had a pretty tight leash on him, if I remember right. Arians didn't have any leash, then Tomlin none what so ever. Hard for Benny to be diciplined with that back ground. If Ben is that far out there, then Mr. haley needs to go flucking balistic on him, show him what a bad dude he can be............

The D usually does roll to motion, but since he was on the outside, he was covered by a CB not a LB. Plus from my vantage point behind the play, and from my experience playing FS, the safety came over farther than he should have. He came over like he was respecting someone's deep speed on the outside. The screen to the opposite side was wide open.

Not pimping Archer, though I'd like to root for him. Just saying he does have value as a decoy. Right now, sadly, that's all he seems to be able to do.

I wanted Jaylen Watkins.

what a bust.
he's totaled one tackle all season.
