Who should start vs Bengals?

Kenny if healthy.....
Mitch looks good for stretches then just goes into wtf mode
Mason in very limited action looked terrible, but not fair to judge given the circumstances.
There is no way trace is getting the start.

Mitch has not done anything for us so I think Mason will get the start. I do not think Mason will look good, but we need to at least try something different.

You can't bench Mitch at the end of the game last week and go back to him. Mason or Kenny if healthy.

We already know what we have in Mitch or Mason - bupkis. If Kenny is healthy, he starts. If not, find out what we have in McSorley. I realize we only need one more win and a tie or a win to get our participation trophy but it's time to see all the players on the roster.

I posted in another thread, but if the current scores stay as is and we beat cinci and seattle we can lose to the ravens and still have a legit shot at the #6 seed according to the playoff calculator. We can also lose to the Bengals and beat the ravens and sneak in.

I don’t think Kenny is going to be ready this soon. I’d probably go with Mason at this point of a lost season.
Personally, I’d shelve Kenny and play out the string with Mason.
There will be no playoffs so really losing out which is a very real possibility would be what this team needs for a better draft position.
What good is it to go 9-8 other than to keep a meaningless streak alive.,
The offseason should be wholesale coaching changes as well as players.
This organization needs a hard reset!

Let mason play. See if he can be #2 next year. Cut mitch. Bring in rookie.

If the OL continues to play like it has, the immobile Rudolph is going to get sacked a lot. I think Mahommes would struggle mightily in the Steelers offense.

too bad we couldn't have signed a quality back up like the Texans did

with Stroud, Dell and Collins on the sideline Keenum was able to rally for an OT win

We beat Cinci..... :ROFLMAO: :pound: :uglyhammer:

If I were the HC I would list Trubisky as a healthy inactive, then go with Rudy and McFlurry, but I would not rush KP back.
I would be evaluating these two for next year backup competition considerations. Mitch is done in the Steel City.

Rudy has sat quietly and patiently for quite awhile now. If Pickett can’t go may as well give Rudy his shot. I mean wth not? I doubt he does anything amazing but it is Christmas time!

I wish there was a "None of the 4" option.

I know my job is safe, win or lose. Coach Tomlin has more on the line than anyone here so I’d think this is a serious matter for him.

In my opinion, Pending if he thinks he will be here next year, I’d play either one of the two Rudolf or Trace.

FIND OUT WHAT YOU’VE GOT IN PREPARATIONS FOR NEXT SEASON.

Under no circumstances would Pickett play the remainder of the year.

I’d also turn in to a nearly full run offense and nearly straight man up blocking.

Use remainder of schedule for evaluations (serious evaluations).

Tell every player in the locker room, the buck stops here and this is their audition.

I realize this might seem like I’m packing it in, but desperate times brings desperate measures.

Now if Coach Tomlin and coaching crew are gone at end of season, might as well interim HC now with anybody including the Ice delivery man.

Salute the nation
