This could be interesting.

MJ did things that seemed super human. The game where he could hardly stand, but still had the game of his life was spectacular. His championship runs were some of the best basketball I have ever watched. Loved those Bulls teams. LeBron is fantastic and it's hard to say if one is better than the other. He does things that a man his size seems impossible. This is coming from a HUGE Larry Bird/Celtics fan. Both a generational players that should be cherished.

Jordan was 6-0 in championship games. Scoring leader and Defensive player of the year. The league had better defense and better players throughout the league. Not just on 4-5 teams. Each team had 1-2 superstars back then.

The game is geared to score now. Scoring is easy. Playing defense while putting up 40 is tougher than putting up 40 by shooting 3s and not being allowed to hand check...

No contest. in this league, Jordan would put up 60 a night and destroy the guard he was guarding. Curry wouldn't be able to get a shot off on Jordan in his prime.

I think LeBron is good and makes his teammates better, which is what you want. I also think he could compete in the old league and would be a superstar. But this whole, picking teammates at recess approach to team building now, has slanted the league to 4 cities, and the rest of the league is sucking for the next season.

I hate the whole Jordan is 6-0 in championships. He didn't win them all by himself. He had a pretty good supporting cast. Lebron, this year anyway, basically dragged a collection of stiffs kicking and screaming into the finals. They didn't wanna go, but he made them anyway. That isn't to say he is better than MJ. Different teams, different eras. Hard to compare really.

I haven't watched a single game from James,so I couldn't say. I did however watch every single playoff game Jordan was ever in (ex was from Chicago and big Bulls fan) He did some remarkable **** in the biggest games. Do I have anything to compare it to? No. I'm not really a basketball fan. I only had to watch for that period of time. It was good stuff I must say. I haven't watched a single game since his departure. The guy had the "it" factor. He also had a great team focused on being the best.

The Chicago Bulls won 55 games without Jordan. Take LeBron off his team for a year, and they don't make the playoffs.

LeBron just straight out carried the team on his back. That right there is impressive.

Based on Championships and legacy I'm going MJ.
But based on physical play and the most valuable asset. LeBron.

90's was MJ
2000's was Kobe --- another one who had that "it" factor.
2010's to present is LeBron.
Not taking anything away from Golden state. They run a team system. But what Lebron is doing with Cleveland is impressive.

Like you, not a big BBall fan, but cannot ignore the athletes the nba produces.

But did they win a Championship? Jordon carried that team, Pippen was the only other star player but the rest were good support players but not stars, the Bulls center was average at best. Jordon never lost a Championship but LeBron did even when he had star players like Kyre Erving. It's Jordan hands down, LeBron can be included in the debate over who's second best with Kobe, Magic, Bird, etc.

MJ.

If he doesn't play baseball, da Bulls probably would have won 8 straight championships. The 2 years he wasn't there, between their two 3 year runs, they did not win the title. Lebron, in Miami for 4 years, as part of the big 3, with Wade and Bosh, only won 2 titles. WITH Kyrie and Love he has won one title while back in Cleveland. LJ can carry a team, but not like MJ could. MJ was a better defensive player too, although LJ has improved.
