Steel Not A Player

If this was already posted this offseason, I apologize.

I dig it. Yes, he does look soft, but I see alot of James Harrison's routine in there. If he turns the corner and gets after the QB, we are a contender. Period. Throw in McCullers starting by mid season and we could be dominant come playoff time.

Looks like a nine mill grin, hope he proves its worth.

Salute the nation

Big Dan is not going to start for the Steelers anytime this year unless we have injuries.

I like Worilds, I don't love the guy but he is our best OLB by far right now. If he can stay healthy maybe he can be really good, I just don't see the Harrison/Lloyd nasty side that it takes to be great.

I watched it. I saw a young guy in the league toolin around in a Mustang, ordering breakfast, wearing a Polo emblazoned sweatshirt, and working out with a personal trainer watching him. James Harrison was a young guy in the league. When he was, and I am just imagining him. Bus ride/ rusty Civic, 2 eggs Rocky-style, torn to **** sweatshirt, bustin out reps after everyone has gone home. Two VERY different worlds.

Motivation make the difference? Let's hope not.

Worlds is not good. I don't and have never seen the promise in him that Coach T sees.

For the sake of the Steeler defense...we all should hope & pray that Coach T's analysis of "Nine Trey" translates into reality this season...

IMO...Nine Trey is key to this defense even being considered average...without double-digit sacks and consistent pressures from him....our once vaulted Steeler D will become bottom ten this year...I don't want to see Mr. Lebeau exit our organization in that manner.

But damn, those 2 years would be fun to watch.

I couldn't take it. By the 20th or so roughing the passer penalty by Game 5 I would have already thrown my TV into the yard. The last couple years watching Harrison get flagged every time he got within 2 feet of the QB about sent me over the edge. That stretch had a lot to do with making me despise the new NFL.
