The only sad part of that article is that smith signed a 5 year 76 million dollar contract. Based on that and the flacco deal, Ben is now worth what? half a billion?
Worilds seems to be following the same formula as last year. Slow start for the first 8 and and furious finish the last 8. Makes him a frustrating player to watch over the course of 16 games.
Lucky he didn't die of internal bleeding.
James Harrison would have received a MASSIVE fine.
I kid you not... TMQ this week was advocating 2 hand touch of QBs... one step closer to a rival league actually being a better watch
Let me start w/ - I don't like hearing about the injuries of players in the league - it just sucks...Chiefs fan friend of mine says Jamaal is out, too.
If Alex and Jamaal are out, that might be a W for San Diego...
which means Ball Hard U is O-U-T of the playoffs.
Neither Harbaugh would make the playoffs this year after meeting in the Super Bowl two years ago.
I like Smith. He is a good football player.....though not a QB I would build a franchise around.
It's a tough break.
I wish him a quick recovery.
And really, the fact that some are happy because Bert and company may be out is crap.
I would much rather kick the Ratbirds *** again IN the playoffs.
It's kinda a Steeler thing.
The Chiefs have great fans, I can say living here.
Hopefully they pull off an improbable win on Sunday.
That will be two years in a row where the Chargers slip into the playoffs with the Chiefs being without their best. Though the backup played great last year and it certainly wasn't his fault.
