Worlids broke Smith

And that collective sigh from crabcake land aka Baltimore became much more pronounced.........thats TWO straight non-qualifying years for the playoffs.....following in our footsteps it seems.

The only sad part of that article is that smith signed a 5 year 76 million dollar contract. Based on that and the flacco deal, Ben is now worth what? half a billion?

And worth every penny.... :)

Worilds seems to be following the same formula as last year. Slow start for the first 8 and and furious finish the last 8. Makes him a frustrating player to watch over the course of 16 games.

Maybe he's good over the last 8-12 and just didn't get to show the last 3-4 last season due to early golf season.

Player safety my ***. Anyone who saw that hit knew he was hurt. He had to be. It was a free 7 yard run by a big linebacker. No one comes out of that uninjured. Yet they trotted him back in. Lucky he didn't die of internal bleeding.

Well get ready for the next protect the qb rules. Not allowed to hit them above the ankles or on the feet. There will be no contact to any part of the body that has tendons or ligaments. There will be no contact to any part that is covered by the uniform or left uncovered.

I kid you not... TMQ this week was advocating 2 hand touch of QBs... one step closer to a rival league actually being a better watch

TMQ the ESPN satirical article or that fat *** Peter King's TMQ? Because if it was the first I'd take it as the humor I hope it was meant to be. If the latter, that's something I could see that ignorant prick advocating because it would extend the career of his man crush Brady.

Chiefs fan friend of mine says Jamaal is out, too.
If Alex and Jamaal are out, that might be a W for San Diego...

which means Ball Hard U is O-U-T of the playoffs.

Neither Harbaugh would make the playoffs this year after meeting in the Super Bowl two years ago.

arena leauge should partner with the wwe and start a 2 hand touch leauge

Don't forget...Chase Daniels is the QB that should of got the WIN against SD last year in week 17..in SD BTW...

I am sure we all remember that one...

SD should beat them soundly. If Ben and Bell were missing this week, I wouldn't be optimistic, at all. There should be panic in KC and BAL.

Let me start w/ - I don't like hearing about the injuries of players in the league - it just sucks...

BUT, when these could "prevent" the Rats from a playoff appearance - well - perhaps I may turn a blind eye...

I will say I don't like for them to happen and do not wish them on anyone, however if they happen it would be nice if they favor the steelers and screw the Harbaughs.

Put some damn paint on the hands of the front 7, if the qb gets two painted hands on his uni he's sacked.
What a load of bull...

I like Smith. He is a good football player.....though not a QB I would build a franchise around.

It's a tough break.

I wish him a quick recovery.

And really, the fact that some are happy because Bert and company may be out is crap.

I would much rather kick the Ratbirds *** again IN the playoffs.

It's kinda a Steeler thing.

The Chiefs have great fans, I can say living here.

Hopefully they pull off an improbable win on Sunday.

I am with you on that man...

The fact that they are 0-4 against us in the playoffs really sticks in the Raven fans gizzards...

Go Chiefs!

I never ever wish or want an injury to any player on the field. They happen, of coarse, so when they do, take the advantage given. I like the Chiefs, sorry for the injury(s). If by some chance they win, that would be OK by me.

Salute the nation

That will be two years in a row where the Chargers slip into the playoffs with the Chiefs being without their best. Though the backup played great last year and it certainly wasn't his fault.

That "back-up" was Chase Daniels...

deja-vue all over again..

How can any respecting Steeler fan WANT them to get into the PO? The more misery the better. F their coach, players, and waterboys. They could care or less if we were sitting home next week, so why should we want them there. Did I mention that they can F themselves???
