If DHB can learn to catch, and Wheaton lives up to his billing, when we go 5 wide we could put the following out there-
Brown, Moore, DHB, Wheaton, Archer. Now, given the straight line speed of Archer, Wheaton, DHB, AND Brown, I don't think there is a team in the nfl that can run with them past 10-20 yards. The question is, will the line be able to hold up long enough to allow the deeper routes to become a real threat, because if they do, defenses are going to have a very, very difficult time covering all those guys.

Now, if DHB goes back to his ball dropping ways, and if Archer doesn't show he can catch the ball at this level, and if Wheaton doesn't get to where he needs to be in year two, well, things could be quite different. I think we'll still have a solid Moore and Brown, but behind them lie a lot of potential and excitement. Why the **** isn't it Sunday already!

Can't wait to see what this offense can do. Hope they give Ben the keys early and often.

I think the group has potential

problem is they are short on experience, in working together

questions that float aimlessly through my head:

Will Wheaton's route running be proficient and steady as he goes, or will there be growing pains being green on experience?

Will Moore prove to have enough left in the tank?

Will DHB hold onto the ball in critical situations?

Will Archer manage not to get hurt the few times he is thrown the ball?

Will the group contribute enough to prevent Antonio from being doubled?

Will MB be a red zone threat?

At TE will Miller show a drop off in production, or can he fight his way to be back to where he was pre-injury?

Lot of potential and a lot of questions...........

when we go 5 wide we could

I know you're not new here, so you shouldn't need to be told. Do I really need to explain it or are you mature enough to realize what you did wrong? That will be 2 Our Fathers and a Hail Mary. Now go and sin no more.

5 WIDE, *******!!!!! tm

I think a game or two we will be seeing improvement all along. Some of those questions will be answered.
Good to say it now that the bruce is gone
5-wide *******!!!!!

Salute the nation

No the line can't hold out for that long, but fortunately, our QB can bide the extra time on his own.

You're also forgetting Justin Brown and Bryant. Bryant has good speed and height. Brown has decent speed and height. If the young WR's have learned and gotten better since last year and through camp, our WR group could be the best in the league. If not to start the year, they will be by mid-season. Going with the straight speed lineup mentioned above, no team can stay with that. Someone will be open. You could even have 4 wide and Archer sneaking out of the backfield or off the edge. This offense should be fun to watch this year.

I'll start saying 5 wide *******, when we start making teams our ******* by going 5 wide. So far all it's done is given our offensive line a chance to help Ben test his health coverage.
